this is the best Italian Deli i have found in Arizona . It is authentic both in atmosphere and the Italian Cuisine . The Italian sausage is made fresh and it is the best . Hands down . I drive 35 miles to shop here and has been for 25+ years. No one can compare ..

I am addicted to there subs . the best ever . owner is nice and always asks f you need help I need to try cheese cake though. . they make fresh pasta n sauce in house . can't go wrong .

I am from New York and have been going to Romanellie's for years! I travel 15 miles every week just to get back home. If you are a true New Yorker you know what I mean , FUGGEDABOUDIT!!!!!I worked in an Itailan deli in New York for 16 years, I know what I'm talking about. If this place ever closes, FUGGEDABOUDIT!!!!!! Thank you for being in Arizona!!!!!!!!

Moved here from NY 27 years ago, and have been a regular customer at Romanelli's pretty much that long. Fantastic, high quality meats, cheeses and specialty groceries, to-die-for crusty fresh breads, overloaded Hero (NY terminology; others call them grinders or subs) sandwiches that look as great as they taste, Italian pastries, hot meals and pizzas to go. They also go out of their way to stock NY regional brands and specialties, such as Wise potato chips, Sabrett hot dogs, Polly-O Ricotta, potato knishes, and - of course - NY cheesecake. Prices are reasonable, and service is great in this family owned/operated breath of fresh air in a market where groceries and sandwiches are usually bought from faceless minimum-wage drones in corporate owned cookie-cutter stores. Guaranteed, you'll love it, and come back again and again!
