I purchased my Goettl Gas/Pac about 12 years ago and was very pleased with their service and product until now. The have been purchased by ARS and no longer manufacturer their own equipment. Their replacement parts for Goettl equipment is now limited to stock on hand, no other parts are being manufactured. This means that when one of the pipes on my heat exchange came loose from it's press fit mounting, they told me I had no choice but to buy a whole new unit (for $9000), and condemned the unit. That was utter bull. I was able to get the heat exchange fixed for less than $250, now they are harassing me for an "unauthorized repair". It's my house and my AC unit. I am canceling my service contract ASAP.
