Residential Gourmet is my favorite of all of the delivery services out there.

We have tried Shwans and Omaha but these guys are much better.

We have been using them for over two years now and would recommend them to anyone who loves great food.

Very unhappy with this business. Have left numerous messages but to return call. They replaced the seafood cause the fish was slimy and mushy; the beef (if that's what it is) is horrible as is the pork (if that's what it is).

ZERO STARS.GARBAGE TOUGHEST GRISSLE.NEVER eat.They will not honor RETURN or Exchange. WONT ANSWER CALLS.FULL OF ADDITIVES:(

Fatty, gristly, bad taste, tough, expensive



Bought 40 pounds of meat. Weighed it and found out it was 28 lbs.



Called, wrote for 4 months before someone was sent to my house.



They replaced 10% of the meat with fish.



Their salesman was nice during the sale and a total jerk afterward.

A guy knocked on my door selling meat door to door a couple weeks ago. I was hesitant, but he was willing to negotiate to what seemed like a pretty good price, and he said that if I wasn't satisfied with the meat then I could return it. Well turns out that the meat is terrible. It's chewy, full of connective tissue and is way over salted. I called to return and there was no answer. I've now called about 25 times over the last two weeks, and have also tried to stop by their warehouse. They've got the door locked and don't answer. Even worse, they've blacked out the glass store front so that you can't see if there's anybody inside. Pretty shady business practice as far as I'm concerned. If they knock on your door I suggest you kick them off your property as fast as you can.

we recently purchased from gizmo..got a great deal...he was in a truck with all the signs on it...products were all in boxes..he asked me if i wanted them..i said no...the meat was great...tender...had new york strip last night...filet today...all was great..my freezer is full and i am happy...

Residential Gourmet Phoenix's door to door meat sales reps DO NOT DISCLOSE, at time of sale, additives (ficin, SALTS, water etc) they have pumped into their meats, resulting in mushy & salty meats. Their traveling reps show you only the wrapped steaks (not boxes with ingredients list) & use hi-pressure sleazy sales tactics i.e "I'm getting out of this meat sales & must rid of all meats/ refrigerator so I have a great price today". Duped Residential Gourmet customers' checks are cashed quickly & don't get their money back - just an offer to up-sell to "better quality meat packages". Their reps drive unmarked personal cars and quickly canvass neighbhorhoods & target seniors and snowbirds. BUYER BEWARE - don't get taken & spread the word.
