I am an historic artist, so when I saw the Sacred Heart Historic Catholic Church standing in the Golden Gate Barrio by the airport and all alone, I parked my car and walked up to photograph it through the fence surrounding it. The building itself was so beautiful that I decided to research the people and priest connected with this amazing site. Next I made it my project to paint a very tiny detailed/textured 3x3 painting that includes a small stand to display this historic place. I know that there is an interest somwhere in the valley for the old Historic Sacred Heart Catholic Church that is left standing in the razed Golden Gate Barrioa. And those connected in someway would enjoy having this small painting with the history of the church,a small stone,photos and Father Braun on the backside including another small stone with three hearts found on the grounds around the church fence.
