BEWARE. They install a salt system that remains theirs. If you decide to move on, they will come and remove it or allow you to buy it. Our unit is 6 years old and they want to charge over $550 for me to keep it. Mind you, that system is already out of warranty. Do not trust them when you talk to them. Our pool went green this spring and spoke with a manager. He assured me they would be doing spot checks on the technician. 6 weeks later, the pool was green again only 2 days after he'd been out to our place for the service. When I called, there was ZERO documentation that spot checks were happening. When I expressed my frustration, I was told they cannot "babysit" all of their technicians. Looks like they need to babysit the managers as well. Don't even start with them, you'll live to regret it.

Our property management company uses this pool vendor.
They constantly let the pool go green and wanted to drain it.
When the pool had a problem they refused to answer questions and demanded the pool be repaired/remodeled to their specifications. Basically held our pool hostage so they could give high priced estimate. Needless to say, they were fired. Found a honest and reliable company that listened to us and answered our questions!

I wouldn't hire them to take care of a kiddie pool. I would of given them 0 stars if possible.

when you call for emergency service you are transferred to a voicemail. They do not return your call for days. When your dealing with pool issues 2-3 days can cause significant issues with your pool. Very unprofessional!

I have had several other pool companies, both small and large, and I have to tell you for consistent reliable pool service Poolman is the very best I have ever had. During the summer months I typically have to leave a voice message if I call them but I always get a return call. The management staff in this company truly care about their customers, a refreshing change. I would highly recommend this company to everyone.

Poolman has serviced my pool was 4 years. I have always been happy so when I needed my Deck again I called them. Wow what a great job they did.

Ten years ago I managed the chemicals in my pool myself and it turned out to be a disaster, quite expense to undo my mistakes as an amateur. I went through several companies and finally found Pool man and I have to tell you they are the best e.g. very knowledgeable, dependable, and responsive when you phone them. My deck was cracking by the pool, I initially just wanted it repaired so I called Pool man. They came out and looked at it, gave me options and we choose to upgrade around the pool with a design, clean the calcium off and clean the pebble tec. WOW - the pool is filling up with water and it looks so inviting and wonderful! Can"t thank Pool man enough for their ideas and having such skilled workers to do the job because my pool just looks fantastic and I LOVE IT! Can't wait to get it warmed up for the summer.

We have been using Poolman for the last nine years. Before that we tried numerous other companies. The comments above must have been those we used before Poolman. This is one of the best companies in Arizona and beyond for all around pool service you can find. They are professional and experts at what they do and always put the customer first.If you want the job done right all the time, Poolman is the only way to go.

These guys are great, they always return my calls and answer any questions I have. My route tech is great and my pool has never looked so good. I love the free salt system they put on my pool.

Thanks to those folks who took time to write a comment. I am in the market for new pool services. First thing i noticed is the hours are 9-5 when most pool guys work 7-5. Then 2 of 3 comments I saw concerned poor customer service and attitudes with pool guys. There is no way I am choosing this company.

Submitted request to this company to replace waterline tile. They came out and bid on tile and suggested an up sell. Within the bid, they added $400+ tax on a $2500 bid for waterline tile and upsell items. After refusing the upsell items, asking about specifics of the work to be performed, reading the contract carefully, and handing them my check, two days later they returned it to me via mail stating "After consulting our office, we are not able to satisfy your needs".Apparently, underbid and couldn't do the job for what they quoted hoping on the up sell and extra tax to offset the original bid costs.Sales guy, Bill was very arrogant and argumentative.

My wife and I have been with poolman service and repairs for eight plus years and just wanted to let you know about your service and professionalism. We tried many other pool services in the entire Phoenix valley before we found poolman. In the years we have been doing business with you, not once have you ever let us down. You and your staff are experts in your field. Our pool has never gone green in all these years and your repair department is excellent. When repairs are needed, your employees fix it right the first time. So we just wanted to thank you for your outstanding service through all these years and the dedication you have to your customers such as us. Job well done.

These guys don't know the meaning of customer service and they have attitudes when they should be happy some is hiring them for their services in this economy, and they are incompetent

i need someone coming to clean my pool as soon as possible

I have a large pool, and the service is awesome with Poolman company. When there is a change in service people we don't usually have a problem. I love them my pool is always sparkling clean, and the service people are great guys. I highly recommend them to anyone, I always recommend them to people I know.

Our pool is always green because this company never does their job right.They never show up when they are supposed to show up, this week they showed up On Monday when they were supposed to be here on Thursday so my husband told the manager how inconveinant it was because we were just leaving. So the manager who serviced our pool calls our landlord and tells her that our dogs ate her drip lines. This guy maliciously called our landlord because my husband gave him a piece of his mind. I called this guys manager and he has the nerve to say that sometimes the lanlords expect them to tell them whats going on, on the property even though it has NOTHING to do with the pool. Unless you want A SPY, A GREEN POOL, A DIFFERANT POOL GUY EVERY WEEK BANGING ON THE DOOR EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE THE CODE TO MY GATE, SHOWING UP WHENEVER THEY DEEM FIT FOR THEMSELVES I DO NOT SUGGEST POOLMAN

I used Poolman for my regular weekly pool service in north Scottsdale for over five years, and the experience was wonderful. They always showed up, the pool was always immaculate, and if there was a problem they notified me. They also replaced a worn out pump and leaky filter at a very good price. Nothing but good things to say about them!
