Provided by YP.comAlthough the owner is quite knowledgeable and short-run approval lots were satisfactory, two production runs were found defective and had to be scrapped. One such instance resulted in dangerous failures in service due to poor heat treat processing of 52100 parts, mandating a very expensive recall. After two failed production runs at a cost of over $80,000.00 we ceased using them. There have been no problems with the same parts to the same spec using other heat treaters. We were not reimbursed for any costs incurred.
