First they take three hours from the time you call until they arrive. I live near 7th St. and Glendale Ave. and am in a wheelchair. They charge me 2 dollars to go to my doctor at 44th st. and Cofco Ctr. Blvd. by 44th street and E. Vanburen, over 5 miles. But to take me in my wheelchair for a few blocks to 19th Ave. and Glendale ave, they want 2.50. Why the big difference in charges? Is it because it was a weekend? Are they charging me for something extra on weekends? This is how Phoenix Transit System treats disabled people. I not only think this isn't fair but I can't afford them doing whatever they want.
