I am hotter than pace picante sauce. On 1/1/2014 my daughter was admitted once again. At this hospital I utterly despise. I made a formal complaint about the staff,rummaging through my personal items. And overall treatment. I am inclined to believe that: Out of retaliation. I was singled out. To the point of nurses fabricating on me. To the point of trying to portray me as negligent to my child. There was a social worker sent to my room. She really had nothing on me. Although she interrogated me on whether I... Had WIC or not! Then when the web of lies she heard were not beneficial. Then she had the audacity. To effin fish for information. About complaints I made! So none of her business. And very unprofessional on many levels. It only got worse from there. My daughter was just discharged today. For a procedure learned and performed by me. Eight days later... When technically it's a 2-3 day procedure! Quite fishy I might add. Then on 1/7/2014 there was this nasty a** nurse assigned to my daughter's room. Who took it upon herself. To try and make a mockery of me. In front of G.I. doc two other docs and possibly students. She basically put her foot in her mouth. Speaking on such things that she assumed. With no actual knowledge of the situation. I doggone sure was not working with this person to train me on anything. It took everything for me not to blow up. So I left the hospital briefly. And apparently that was a big deal! With? As I have informed them more than once. My daughter was their patient. And not me! That is where the focus should've been. I am a very good mother. I take my daughter to all of her appointments. There was no reason for me to be patronized,ostracized or accused.I intend to look into legal action. Just based on discrimination alone. I was judged not only on race. But poverty level. Straight up b.s.!!! Just because I am in a certain income bracket. Doesn't make me a drug user or less than. If my daughter ever has another emergency. I guarantee it will not be at sorry a** PCH! I did nothing wrong.

I have only experienced the ER at PCH but I give it 5 stars. I always feel supported as a parent. Everyone is patient and very attentive to kids and their parents. Today they rushed our discharge paperwork because my 10 month old was fussy. I can't say enough about this hospital. I won't take my kids to any other hospital.

Amazing doctors and nursing staff! Actually all staff within the hospital were very caring and wanting to help make my child's stay the best possible. We will never go to the other Children's Hospitals in the valley again. I saw what true medical childcare should be and what we had been lacking for years at other establishments.
