This is a really old mobile park and it has definitely seen better days. Palo Verde Mobile Manor (pvmm) has been around since the late sixties or early seventies and used to be a pretty nice place. Over the years it has slowly deteriorated and occupancy dwindled. Poor management and a lack of interest by the ownership has taken a toll on what was once a pleasant, affordable, and eye-appealing community. The recent change from "senior" status to "family" status was an effort to attract new tenants. The unfortunate side effect of this move is that the new "clientele" is not exactly the best and low income people tend to act like it and look like it. So, the new management and the "improved" park have had a lessening effect on the quality of renter and the general look of the park in overall. Pvmm does not provide any grounds maintenance and little is done to enforce rules of conduct and the individual tenants responsibility to keep up appearances. It's too bad that places like this are allowed to drop. There is another park right next to pvmm which is also owned and operated by the same entity called Hyde Park. Hyde Park is a haven for even worse tenants that are a nuisance for anyone close by. More needs to be done to ensure that people living here are decent, quiet, and repectful. Letting in "just anyone" is not the way to lease, even if it is a low income area. Pvmm has potential and could be a lot better, but buisnesses don't run themselves and it takes a real effort to bring something back once it has been allowed to run down.
