Masthead International Inc. (MII), a Performance Contracting Group subsidiary, has been providing precision services since 1971. Tom Lang, Sanford Walker and Harry Andersen founded the company as a mover and installer of machinery for the newspaper industry. Throughout its history, MII has diversified its services to include drive upgrades, electrical contracting and semiconductor tool rigging. Its sister company, Masthead Rigging and Crating, has more than 25 years of experience in rigging and crating a variety of heavy objects. PCG, a specialty contractor headquartered in Lenexa, Kan., acquired Masthead International in 1999. Performance Contracting Group owns and operates a family of companies that together offer specialty contracting services such as interior work, insulation, cold storage, rigging, abatement and engineered systems fabrication.
