The Club was established in 1965. We have steadily grown since then and now are a non-profit organization of 400-500 boys and girls ages 4-16, participating in summer leagues of tee-ball, softball and baseball. We depend solely on Sponsors, Registration fees, Sno-Cone Booth sales, Fundraisers and Donations to pay the expenses of our Club. Some of these expenses include: Insurance, uniforms, utilities, trophies, umpires, fencing, and equipment.

We are constantly trying to improve our Club, from both the safety aspect as well as the fun aspect, for all our players and fans.

We have eight different leagues and seven fields with fields 1 & 2 being lighted.

Games are played on weekday evenings at either 6:00 or 8:00pm. On occasion there may be Saturday games.

We use association umpires for all leagues except for the pee wee leagues.

This ball club doesn't even deserve a one star. I coached here for two seasons and the owners are a big joke. They are clueless about the game and will gladly tell you they are business owners and that's it. The reviews you read stating that this is all disgruntled parents are part of the click at Manzanita. Randee the owner allowed another coach, her brother, to cuss and yell at me in front of both teams of girls ages 5-9. When my husband stood up and told him to get out of my face and not talk to his wife that way, Randee then continued to let her brother get in my husband's face and cuss and yell at him. When my husband warned him three times to get out of his face and then pushed him back he was kicked off the field for good but her brother got to stay. Let's not forget about how this same coach made three different girls on my team cry with the nasty negative comments he made to them. He also commented that our entire team had no idea what they were doing in front of the girls...yet he still continued to coach and still does. Guess shitty family comes before your business. No wonder they don't make any money. I would never waste a dime on this ball club as they should not be in business at all. So if you want to be a part of a club that could care less about truly teaching your children the fundamentals of the game and to love the sport for what it is this is the place for you.

I would not recommend this bal...

I would not recommend this ball club to anyone! This is by far the worst club I had experience with. The umpires run the club. If you disagree with any of the umps or boardmembers you are automatically kicked out. They will not listen to your side of the story. They have favorites there and they only listen to them. It is highly political there. Your kids will end up hating baseball by the end of the season.

worried parent (baseball)

Unforunately these particular times call for working as much as possible when posseble. We trust certain individuals with our children to teach and support along with be a type of role model. This year 2009 I have spoken to coach (Dan Davis) about my concern of my 10 year old practicing at 10pm. I work at 3am instead of working with the parents he belittled my wife and son saying they are not comitted and interigrating my wife on her daily schedule. I don't know where we should draw the line have times changed so much?
