Quality was very poor, ordered photos and there were black marks all over the photos from his "DO NOT COPY" stamp on the back of the photo. Keith is difficult to work with, ecentric, yells at the guests to stay at least 10 feet away from him. Photos were expensive $15 for a picture I could take from my own camera. DON'T HIRE!!!!

Wow! I stumbled across this by accident! I’d like to first point out that I have been in business for over 35 years. I actually love doing weddings and of all the photography work I have done, it is the most difficult and demanding, yet most satisfying! It is worth noting that I was voted one of the best photographers in Arizona in this year’s issue of “RANKING ARIZONA 2008 – The Best Of Arizona Business”. But, I have long since learned you can’t please everybody. Interesting that you chose an anonymous way to voice your complaint. It would have been proper, if not at least fair, to address your issues with me personally. I know you didn’t because I have not had any one report back that prints were received with black marks from the copyright stamp on the backside. One of the girls in finishing must have not let some of them dry correctly. It would have been nice to know when that happened so I could correct what ever the problem was. And of course, our work is guaranteed. All you had to do was report it and they would have been quickly replaced, usually with a bonus enlargement for the inconvenience. Any good photographer strives to protect his images from illegal copying and the notification is required under copyright law to protect the images. You noticed we did not place such printing on the face of the image, as many photographers do. In light of this, I will send an e-mail to last year's brides to remind them to return any unsatisfactory prints for replacements. I take great exception to your characterization of me as “yelling” at the guests. You know that didn’t happen. I do remember one guest last year that confronted me argumentatively when asked to step away. It is usually my bride or groom that tells the guests to step away. You did read and sign the contract, so you did agree to the very first clause, which says, “Others taking “pictures” (whether photo or video) are permitted only at the photographer’s discretion. It is understood that the studio is not responsible for unsatisfactory or missed photos due to interference caused by others taking pictures.” I always explain our position on that when asked or during the planning session before the wedding. I think the guests with cameras look forward to taking photos at the wedding and I want them to enjoy taking pictures. In today’s world, there are often 30 or more guests with cameras at a wedding, not counting the one’s with camera phones. At times I gather them like Paparazzi to add to the excitement of the shot I am trying to create. But, during the formal portrait session, a professional photographer can’t have any number of guests standing shoulder to shoulder with him with their flashes all going off randomly. Any one can see the confusion that would cause. People being photographed would think I am done with my picture and look away. Others wouldn’t know just who to look at when the picture is being taken. Such a modicum of control is routine at such an event and almost any professional photographer must do that to insure the quality of the “once in a life time” images we are being paid to produce. Many photographers do not allow anyone to take pictures during the photographer’s creative photo session. I do. Is it really too much to ask that they give me some respect and not stand so close to me while I work during that single hour? I think $15 for a 5x7 is quite fair and comparable to any fine photography studio. Every photo purchased, regardless of price, is artistically rendered and fully retouched. And besides, we gave you a free $100 album page for every $100 in orders. Does anyone else do that? NO! I regret we didn't meet your expectations as we do with most of our brides.
