Thank you J.Levine Auction for handling my aunts estate with such professionalism. I was apprehensive about parting with expensive jewelry and art work but was put at ease by the staff who are also very professional and am glad I made the decisions to use this company. I was told by a friend about j. Levine who also has used this company with great success. I did not know what do do when my aunt died. It was a task I thought i could manage until I started asking local jewelry stores and dealers to make offers and buy my aunts things. Little success was achieved and after two weeks I was no better than when I started. My prayers were answered when J. Levine came and told me what they can do and how fast it could be done. I was still worried as I had no idea what to expect other than what they were promising me. I quickly realized I had no other way of dealing with the position I was in than to let the things go and hope foe the best. I am so glad I did. I watched the sale of my aunts estate online and felt the pressure lift from my shoulders as each item sold.. I would encourage anyone in my position to seek out these people who are doing a wonderful job for people like me and Thank you again J. Levine *****

I am writing this review because I fell I have been treated unfairly. I purchased ring from J Levine Auction Scottsdale AZ on 11/23/12 that I was going to give to my wife for Christmas. The credit card I had on file was declined and I immediately contacted the auction house to let them know I had every intention to pay for the ring but my credit card had been comprised. They sent me an email back about their terms and conditions and if I didn’t pay by Thursday 11/28 they would have to report my none payment to Artfact.com and that I would no longer be able to bid on that site again. I felt that by contacting them of my situation they would work with me so I could meet the obligations that I had agreed on. So Friday morning 11/30 when I had a day off I sent them an email stating that I was sending a check out to pay for the item. Here is the email I sent them and their response I have sent a check in the mail today sorry for the delay when my check clears please ship the item, I will give you another my credit card for the shipping and would like it shipped so it gets here before 12/21 for Christmas I will pay extra if needed to get it to me by the above date. I apologize for the delay and earlier comments I understand you will need to report this to Artifact as a none payment and you as a business have to do what’s best for you. Again I apologize the best I can do is a check, I have some issues with my credit cards and cannot use them until I can straighten the mess out. Their response as I mentioned before, you had until Thursday morning to contact us with payment. Due to the violation of our terms and conditions we marked you as an unpaid bidder and relisted your item. Once we receive the check we will send it right back to you. My outstanding balance was $197.20 not a lot in the scheme of the size of the auction that day, and not after I had been in continuous contact with them. I did agree to their terms but I don’t have control over my cards being hacked. I’m angry how unprofessional of this auction house, what terrible customer service, and now I question their integrity and honesty. How do I really know that what they sold me was what they said it was? Maybe their reaction to this issue is to cover-up the fact that the ring is not what they stated it was and it’s their way of getting out of another issue with the ring when it finally got to me. I don’t know and now will never know. All I do know that from past experience buying from online companies like this do not last long and are usually dishonest. I know I will never buy from them again; I have expectations on how I should be treated as an honest customer that has purchased many antiques from online auctions. I would also like to mention that I’m not an amateur at buying antiques. I have been an antique dealer for ten years part time and as a hobby. I know the business well, I sell quality antique Porcelain and Pottery and have been building a reputation as so, I am considered to be honest and fair. I put my customers first and have always paid my bills. I have a web site on Ruby Lane in good standing since 2009 and before that on EBay and have had a showcase at Adams Antiques in Adamstown PA and now at Kat & Co in Saint Joseph Mo. I do about 4 to 6 antique shows a year and make lots of friends and customers as I build my business and work toward retirement. I don’t deny the terms and conditions that I agreed to when I signed up for this auction but the world is not black and white and sometimes you have to act professional and reasonable when an honest customer reaches out to you to try and fix their mistake, that’s not unreasonable. I am a reasonable person and believe issues or misunderstanding like this can be working with reasonable people. Katie M. Richards Receptionist has not done J Levine Auction any justice. I had the pleasure of doing business with J Levine Auction & Appraisal over the past week and am greatly pleased with the knowlege and professionalism of the entire staff. Their is no comparison to this company and their standard that I have found. I would highly reccomend them to anyone searching for a reputable Auctioneer or Appraisal company that opperates on integrity and unsurpassed service.

First off, let me say how honest they were and took great care of my mother's estate. Did everything they said they would and their appraisal before the sale was right on the money. The Auctioneer, Josh Levine, really has his act together. I am so glad we chose to go with a professional auctioneer. Highly recommend to anyone !
