I dropped off 3 designer dress shirts on 10/31/13 for dry cleaning. I asked for same day or next day service as I was leaving town for a week on 11/2/13 and needed all 3 shirts for meetings. The owner said he could have them ready by 4pm on 11/1/13. He counted the 3 shirts and filled out the drop off and pickup ticket. I returned on 11/1/13 at 4:30 PM and presented the pickup ticket. The girl went to look for my shirts. After 10 minutes, she informed me that she could not find my shirts and to return Monday 11/4/13 and hopefully they would have found them.. I explained that I was leaving town and that would be impossible and to call the owner to see if he knew where they were. I really needed the shirts. She called and he said they should be there Monday. I was upset by this. I asked them to call my cell phone on Monday to confirm they were there and I would return on 11/12/13 to pick them up. She said there would be no charge because of this. I purchased new shirts and went on my business trip. I returned on 11/12/13 to pick up my shirts. She handed me 2 shirts and asked to be paid. I reminded her that she had said no charge and asked for my 3rd shirt. She stated that they were only able to find 2 of the 3 shirts. and that I needed to discuss it with the owner. I returned to discuss wit the owner and he stated that the employee had mistaken and counted the shirts wrong when I dropped them off, and that only 2 shirts had been dropped off, not 3. I showed him the paper work he filled out when I dropped them off and it showed 3 shirts. He denied that he even took my order and blamed his employee for miscounting and providing the wrong paperwork. I asked him if he was willing to pay for a new shirt and he said no, and that was basically not his problem. the shirt he lost was Bugatchi Classic Fit Sport Shirt that cost $149.00 from Nordstrom. I am very dissatisfied with his services and lack of caring that he lost my shirt.
