I'd like to respond to this rating. It is incorrect that you must fill out the adoption application before being able to review our animals. The button to click on the application is at the top of the page but all the adoptable animals info, including their photos, will populate the page within a few seconds, depending on what type of connection you're using (if you're on dial up it will take longer and may give you the impression that you're not able to see the pets without filling out the application first since it will take up to a minute to see the animals. Most of our website users have at least DSL so they see them within 5 seconds). We do not conduct a home visit with our adoptions but ask adopters if they'd allow us to do so in the event that a particular animal would need that type of special adoption process. We ask to share your information with individuals and other rescue organizations because we list owned pets for folks on our website to help them find home for their animals. If you apply for one of those animals, we need your permission to forward your application to them. We also like to forward applications to other agencies in the event that we don't have what you're looking for. It is all in an effort to help you find the pet you want in the fastest amount of time. The faster you adopt a shelter pet, the faster we can save another one. I hope this helps you understand our situation more clearly now.
