Never have I dealt with a company that behaves in such an illegal and unprofessional manner. The office manager, Nelly, and the property manager, Marissa, have violated our lease on several instances and have harassed my fiancé and me. We are now dealing with them violating our lease during the move-out process.
1. False Advertisement: Advertised grass and live trees, everything was dead and no grass at move-in.
2. Urine-Stained Carpet: Carpet reeked of urine at move-in. We rented carpet cleaner and cleaned it ourselves.
3. Negligence of Our Safety: Refusal to remove large dead tree that fell in backyard. Took two months to remove the fallen and remaining dead trees that were about to fall. Nelly yelled at us on phone when we called to inquire.
4. Lack of Lease-Mandated Landscaping: Lease requires monthly regular landscaping. Nelly told us she wouldn’t provide it, until we sent her email quoting lease. Went several months w/o landscaping during this conversation.
5. Failure to Comply with City Codes: City cited them for dirt front yard (condition upon move-in). They threatened and harassed us about our watering schedule. Landscaper set sprinkler and it still didn’t grow. Nelly lied to code compliance officer saying we didn’t water; he told her he knew she was lying because he saw it watered every time he drove by. City forced them to finally place gravel.
6. Lied to Future Property Manager: Nelly lied to our new property manager, calling us bad tenants. He warned us she was saying these things and didn’t seem to believe her. Asked her if we paid rent on time, to which she had to tell truth, which was yes and even early.
7. Violation of Lease at Move-Out: Lease states we can do inspection 3 days prior to termination, to give us an opportunity to make any repairs. We request an early inspection, and Marissa screams at me on phone, saying we have to hand over keys on inspection date and that we can’t do repairs after inspection. This violates our lease agreement.

Looking for an incompetent Property Management company? Well look no further. I am beyond disgusted the way this establishment lacks customer service and professionalism. I had signed my lease back in December in which upon my lease agreement for this company to handle my house I was informed that “it wouldn’t be hard to get my house rented” and that “people are going to be happy”. Well that didn’t really go as planned. We started the first week with a price drop after the management told me “I am asking too much”. I agreed to drop the price but then again I was hearing from people who were wanting to see the house that Marissa Pagan went behind my back and was offering a free one months rent. Unbelievable how shallow and immoral someone can be to make false agreements without the landlords permission.
Honestly, do not waste your time here. The lack of unprofessionalism goes from Non-Communicative inquires to never returning your messages via email or phone calls.

You are better finding some company who doesn’t go behind your back and makes offers to just any person. Thank you for wasting my time and energy to lose out on two months mortgage while I could have gotten someone in here within a week.

Recently the storm took a toll on our AC unit, plumbing issues, flooding, all in 1 week. MARISSA pulled no punches, she remained in constant contact with us and personally came to our residence on her day off to personally see the job was done. On top of going above and beyond her job, took things a step further to re-check all paperwork, ensuring no more issues. We've been with G.W. Management for 3 years, professional, courteous, and reliable. That's why we're signing another lease, thank you Marissa for treating my family as yours.

Jayson Yoss managed my rental for 1 year; He was horrible; he tries to hit up on his female employees; and he has a short man complex; He sold his operation in tucson. Don't use his company.

the GWM phoenix team has been great with managing several of my properties. I can see how managing multi unit properties can be challenging, but they have done so with lots of communication and professionalism. I never have to worry about tracking them down.

I am glad that I have a great company behind me. Wendy is always willing to lend a hand or there to answer a question.

Goldenwest is managing numerous rental properties me and their management performance has been exceptional. They are very responsive to all my requests and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a management company.

Communication with Jayson has been excellent. Phones calls are answered and email responded to in a timely fashion. Very nice!

This is without a doubt the worst company we have ever been exposed to. They have no idea what service is, they will never return a phone call (they are always in meetings) they lie, and EXTREMELY rude (our encounters were with this little man named Jayson Yoss who is the founder, owner, broker, liar, POS. and of course you have to mentione the queen of RUDE little miss Sherry Chaffin who RUNS the office in Vegas. Don't take our word go onto Yelp and hit the "filtered" reviews button and you will see the REAL TRUTH about these LOSERS! YOU ARE FIRED!
