This company lacks professionalism at every turn. I have had to deal with them since December of last year, in regards to two issues.
That is how long it takes to get anything resolved.

Now imagine how annoying that is in a year like this one!

In that time, our community has also been assigned 3 different community managers. High turn over much?!

Each time, you have to re-explain your “case”. Each one has also, right off the bat, been extremely rude and unprofessional. This is providing you can ever get a hold of them.

Things Golden Valley Property Management is NOT good at: responding to phone calls, responding to emails, pointing out where specifically in your CC&R guidelines fines are warranted (they don’t like specifics), treating community members with respect, having a website that belongs in 2020.

Things Golden Valley Property Management IS good at: sending $300 in fines at the height of a global pandemic while ignoring any/all correspondence, deflecting any time there is an issue, not answering questions, and simply refusing to respond by stating as much in writing, sending the wrong fines to the wrong houses (half our community has had this ongoing issue).

I would urge any community looking to bring in a management company to avoid this one entirely.

I have witnessed their behavior tear our community down. HOA’s exist to better the community, remember that when hiring a management company to enforce your bylaws.

Golden Valley Management Company is out to make money. It will be evident the moment you bring them in. This will 100% ruin moral within the community.

Further, any company that states out loud that they will no longer respond to paying residents is not one you want to work with.

UPDATE: I added a photo to show exactly how the president of this company, Mickey Latz talks to upset paying residents. Yes, I do "expect your help", thats why we PAY YOU!

The condominium complex I live in has been with Golden Valley for over a year nearly a year-and-a-half. It started out fairly good and has consistently gone downhill to the point now that we really need to find a new management company. In my opinion there is a lack of professionalism, consistency and effectiveness in getting projects done and issues with vendors not showing up when they agreed to and discrepancies in Billing. Also when we asked Mickey for an email to the board to let us know when projects are completed, we commonly heard he just doesn't have time. We have also now gone through 5 or 6 different managers at Golden Valley Property management. We've had communication issues and other issues too lengthy to go into I can just tell you it's been a very very very unhappy experience.

They need to get their paperwork organized and stop harassing home owners due to their mistakes. They make me seriously want to move. I have had HOA's in the past without any problems. But this company has many of us a little more than frustrated!
