Absolutely amazing. We didn't have a rental through Enterprise but they went above and beyond for us after Payless screwed us over. Enterprise gave us a great deal and we're very courteous and helpful. We will book through them from now on.

When I arrived at the rental counter, they knew that I had a reservation and what type of car I wanted (not always the case, in my experience). The staff, both at the counter and in the lot, were friendly and helpful. There was a glitch with the first car I picked, but the team member smoothly directed me to the same model in a different color. It was exactly what I wanted: compact, clean, and extremely comfortable. I had a few questions about operating the vehicle, which were all answered sufficiently. Really, I couldn't have been happier with the experience.

Great service.. They were were very helpful to me when I needed it the most. There Manager Marsha helped me out with a family emergency when Expedia tried to scam me out of money. There staff is very friendly and patient.

Made a reservation the weekend before Thanksgiving, the counter was fairly crowded but the agents got people in and out pretty fast. One thing...fix the kiosks, if they worked there would be a minimal line. How can it take a drivers license from another country but not a valid AZ license, seriously?

So as usual, I had a wonderful experience renting a vehical from Enterprise in Arizona. I travel for business out there every 4 months and have always had a great experience. This last trip was a little frustrating because the vehical I had was horrible. For starters, the lever to adjust the stearing wheel was not operational so the stearing wheel was all the way forward, the transmission was having issues as the vehical would jump from 3rd to 1st when slowing down causing the car to jump, the electrical was bugging out for no reason as the turn signals and lights would just start flashing for no reason while I was driving, the change oil alert kept popping up everytime the car turned on, and I kept having to air up the front passenger tire every other day because it would go flat. Overall though, the car did what it was supposed to do, get me to where i was supposed to be. When I returned the vehicle, the gentleman that checked me in was very empathetic to my proplem and gave me a business card that allowed me to receive a free upgrade for my next trip out to Arizona. I am looking forward to having a larger car as my employer loves putting us in the intermediate vehicles for our 9 day trips to Arizona.

The Enterprise experience is the way that car rentals should be. The greeting as you arrive is prompt and energetic. They take you to your car and go over your car with you. Returning the car is very smooth and very professional. All employees are the very best at giving great service. I will only rent from Enterprise in the future.

Everything was an extremely smooth and easy process. We checked-in with our reservation number and with in minutes were in the car we had requested and on our way. When we returned the car a few days later, again everything was very easy and smooth. No complications at all.

This was hands down the worst rental experience of my life.

I made a reservation online and spoke with a person on the phone to make sure that there wouldn't be any problems. Once there it took over half an hour for them to locate my reservation then they told me that they would not be able to rent me the vehicle because I only had a debit card on me, not a credit card, and that was not acceptable for a one way reservation. Before I made my reservation to begin with I had spoken to a customer service rep on the phone and told them I planned to use my debit card and they had told me that I would be ok.

I spoke to a a ditzy young girl who was rude, and lacking anything that could be conveyed as interest or customer service.

I got a ride back the the airport location and the guy behind the counter felt some sympathy and said that if I had a friend who could put the deposit on their credit card for me I could complete my rental. I had to call my brother who had dropped me off two hours earlier, drive out another 2 hours round trip so I could put the deposit on his credit card. BUT IT DIDNT STOP THERE!

Once my brother was there and we were nearly done with the rental, the guy went to take his CC and then says, sorry, the card has to be in MY NAME!! WTF? After losing my mind and temper, the manager said, oh, they're siblings? Well in that case its Ok. Lord help me...

I asked for an upgrade or discount due to all the madness and was told, yeah no problem, just ask the manager of the lot downstairs when pickin up the car. Finally, I accepted against better judgement. I went downstairs, and lo and behold, after explaining my situation, I had to pay for my upgrade... And the car they gave me? Had a window that wouldn't roll up and brakes that. Never again, Id rather pay twice as much at another company.

We booked in February for a 1 week rental in October and reserved a full size 4 door vehicle ford fusion or the like for a cost of 369.44. First when we arrived, the price did not match. What a surprise. It was explained to us that there is a deposit added onto the car and will be refunded later. Then when we went to the car floor to be assigned our car, it was explained that there were no cars and that we were being upgraded to an SUV. To us, this was a downgrade. We needed a smooth riding car with a trunk to hide all our gear in. So we were forced to take the SUV (Sante Fe). We stopped at Walmart to buy a black sheet to attempt to hide all our gear in the back. Before we left the rental place, the hard sell was put on us that if we had a wreck, we would be responsible for not only the full amount of the repairs, but also we would have to pay for every lost day that the vehicle was out of commission. So we agreed to the flat rate of 24.99 per day which amounted to 174.93. When we came home we found out our bill was not 544.37 as agreed upon, but another 58.16 dollars higher. Apparently this $174.93 insurance has a 34% tax/surcharge on it.....this was not disclosed to us when we agreed to the 174.93. Total rental for the 602.53. Shame on them for not disclosing the extra costs. I called to nicely complain about not only the extra fees, but the fact that we reserved a full size car and none were there. They promised a call back, but so far no call back. As far as the Sante Fe, it got us where we needed to go. The ride was a bit rougher in the mountains. Disappointed in Enterprise. Next time we'll try Avis.

Booked a Dodge challenger or equal 4 months in advance and when I arrive I was given a DIRTY Camaro because no Challengers were available .Then they charged me $11 a day for the upgrade to the Camaro???? Hello!!! I would say a Camaro and Challenger are equal. After a few phone calls I was reimbursed the $116 upgrade charge. Beware of the extra charges they try and sneak in!!!

The self check in process worked flawlessly. I was a late arrival and the selection was limited but the individual that checked me in at Sky Harbor for the rental car was very accommodating. He went over the car with me showing the cars features. Radio, cruise control and various items in the car. Wow! I thought that was a step beyond what I have been used to. The gab and go theory is ok but a touch of friendly courtesy is always nice. I really appreciated his professionalism. As always the courtesy that Enterprise shows their customers has always been fantastic. Thank-you for a pleasant experience. See you next time.

This is a great facility that puts service first. From the check-in counter to getting the car, the entire process was a breeze. I would highly recommend renting a car through Enterprise at PHX!

I was promised a Toyota, or Honda van when I booked the rental in July. But when I arrived 2 months later, I was offered a Chrysler product only. I was disappointed to say the least.

Fast and friendly. Excellent experience! Received a free upgrade when the car they had planned for us had a minor problem with a hub cap. Really appreciated that attention to detail.

Overall as usual my experience with Enterprise was pleasant. Checking out the vehicle and checking in was easy and convenient. The price was a little steep compared to what I am used to, but this has to do with not reserving as early as I typically do. The reason for my lower than 5 star rating is for the quality of our rental car. I am sorely let down with how low quality the 2016 Jeep Compass is. Although the interior was clean and comfortable the vehicle itself was a not worth nearly $600 for one week. The steering is just awful, the power is completely gutless, the automatic to manual shifting option is very confusing if you have not used one before, and all around it just felt very cheap. Additionally, when you search the reviews for the Compass it has something like a 1.5 out of 5 for consumer rating. Plus the crash rating is awful as well. I will surely continue to use Enterprise. I think this was my 5th rental and up until this pathetic car things with you guys have been great.

Very friendly staff. I liked that they had a selection of cars and let you choose which one you want to drive. We got a Ford Focus for 7 days and it came to $261.88 for the week. Not bad since you can prepay $25 for them to fill it up if you don't feel up to going to the pump.

I was very annoyed at the extra charges that nobody told us about prior to the car rental. We had an estimate with the confirmation of the reservation. When we arrived we opted for the fuel fill up. The clerk did not explain to us all the additional expenses associated with that option. The 34 dollar price tag of the fuel cost us around 50 dollars total. Our 327 dollar estimate cost over 370 dollars because of that fuel option. At least that is what the lady on the phone told me when I called to complain. We had reserved a mini SUV but none were available when we arrived. We had to take a full sized SUZ. So for our trip[ in general we got less gas mileage. All in all Enterprise let us down this trip. Will consider another company in the future seeing as Enterprise is heading in the direction it is.

Car was dirty and in poor shape. Was charged twice for rental, in dispute. Only positive was the lady supervisor that tried to assist in the overbilling. She was more then understanding. Have used enterprise for years. Will have too reconsider using again.
