Encanto Elementary School offers a dual language program in which students are taught to read, write and speak in English and Spanish. The program develops skills in understanding lessons taught in English and Spanish through cooperative group learning. The school has an annual enrollment of more than 700 students in kindergarten through grade three. It focuses on early childhood education, as well as offers regular classes in special education, reading, math, science, music, social studies, art and physical education. The school organizes spring carnivals, reading picnics, music presentations and science nights. Encanto Elementary School is a part of Osborn School District 8 and is located in Phoenix.
