Woww! This was our first time here for my birthday celebration and definitely not our last.... From the easy booking though the APP, to simple check-in with chocolate chip cookies! 😋 We now know where to stay everytime we visit PHX. Bye bye Marriott, and HELLO Hilton!🤜🏾🤛🏾 Such a clean, modern and thoughtful facility. The bar was appealing & breakfast was above "par"! We recommend this Double Tree by Hilton and cant wait to visit again! Thank you to staff and management!! 👍🏾👍🏾

I have been sitting on this review from our week long stay in April of last year.If it had not been for 2 bad experiences, I would have willingly rated our stay with 5 Stars.First the good things.Upon arrival we were greeted by the courteous and friendly front desk service personal. The daytime clerk; Liz was terrific. She was extremely helpful suggesting many attractions that we should visit. I was sad that she was off on the day we checked out.. We were given our customary DOUBLE TREE Chocolate Chip Cookies) .(the cookies were the deal breaker. When choosing our lodging.The complimentary breakfast was buffet style. The crew in the kitchen did an excellent job replenishing the bounty of selections. There was an array of items..Selections varied, scrambled eggs bacon, pancakes, waffles s.. an array of fruit juices, hash browns and muffins.DT has a hostess seating the guests. Even though it was buffet style, we had a server who brought us coffee, water and the like. She was extremely attentive and kept those much cherished coffee full. Our room was fastidious.and well appointed. Coming from Washington D.C. the grapefruit trees intrigued me.Everyone on the staff was wonderful. We tippend housekeeping $5.00 a day, they did a good job.Now for the reasons that I did review with 5 stars. At breakfast I reached in the Plexiglas bread keeper to get a slice of bread for toast. I pulled out very moldy piece of bread. I caught up with one of the Kitchen staff, and softly let him know...the bred box was immediately removed, and replaced.My biggest gripe was the sheets on the bed. I informed housekeeping that I wanted my linens changed daily. Doubletree participates in conserving water. That I understand, but due to health issues, I wanted my bed changed daily. During our the 7 night stay, they were only changed once. I left notes daily beneath the ABE LINCOLN requesting my sheets changed...: We usually got back to our home base late and exhausted, otherwise I would have notified housekeeping.( Would we stay there again? I will let you know in July when we return to PHOENIX.
