Desert Vista High School offers credit courses in fine arts, English, mathematics, physical science, life science, health and physical education, U.S. government, world history and geography. It also offers various student programs that include vocational education, gifted, advanced placement and evening and summer school programs. The school has various student clubs and co-curricular activities, such as Asian student union, be a lifesaver, best buddies, business internship, chamber orchestra, close up and coffee society. In addition, it has creative writing, chess, clay and computer imaging and production clubs. Desert Vista High School is a part of the Tempe Union High School District and is located in Phoenix, Ariz.
