I went there because i had installed a sound system and the installer fried my electrical system also i needed a new brakes, AC and full tune up. I dropped my car off on a Thursday and my car was finished on Monday and it runs beautifully . he is highly priced but you get what you pay for.

The only person with a positive opinion on this place is the owner. The shop has been in 3 different places, on the news for bad business practice, don't expect them to finish your car in less than 6 months. I started my build with them in February 2013. Was supposed to be a 383 build because I'd blown the heads on my 160,000 mile 350 in my camaro. They quoted me 4000, I've paid them well over 6 and the car still isn't right. It was towed back and forth 4 times. They destroyed my distributor (poured water from the water pump on my opti) then charged me to fix it and still did it wrong so it had to be redone but I wasn't taking it back to that he'll hole, stall was improperly installed found that out on the dyno and they tried to blame the dyno guy after multiple cars they built have torque curves that look like a skydiving chart after 3k rpm. If you want some that's close enough work ethic to spend your hard earned money on feel free but when it needs to be done again and costs you 3 times as much in the end you will be sad you ever dealt with these scam artists. They didn't even start work on my car for months. Kept telling me it was almost there so I swing by unannounced and its still together. Don't ever go here, I don't wish ill on anyone but I hope this guy goes bankrupt and loses everything, they certainly don't care that I've spent near 3 grand fixing their 6 grand debacle.

I took my 2004 cavalier to dans auto to replace my clutch master cylinder. It took him 3 weeks to do the job, charges out ridiculous prices. Finally got my car back and a MONTH later my clutch went out again! Another 3 week repair charging double the amount for the parts. And now a year later my clutch went out again. Horrible unreliable work. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CARS TO DANS AUTO!! You'll be paying more for repairs than it is worth.

Many problems with the "service" provided by Dans Auto. Two week job took months, and still not done right. He some how caught my engine on fire and burnt out the ecu that I paid to have installed and replaced it with a cheaper version with out compensating the difference. He put the wrong motor mount and left several bolts either missing or loose. Several other parts that I paid good money for we're missing or damaged after I got the car back. I also got word from other people that Dan was driving my car all over town telling people it was his. I was also recently contacted by a seperate couple that also had problems dealing with Dan. Unless you can afford his service stay far away as you can from Dans Auto Shop!

Great service, I had my heads ported and installed on my 2001 firebird, they even had the head porter call me to get my expectations and wants. Great A+++ I got the comp cam .590L cam 230@.50 ish cam and the head port headers as well and hit 419 wheel A+++++

I definitely will be back to have additional work completed and pass your name along to those looking for honest feedback for services. 2) To others that read, this shop was so dedicated to ensuring my vehicle passed above and beyond service that I am definitely a referral source to ...recommend anyone looking for auto services. Although it passed emissions, Dan was still not comfortable returning my car back to me until he viewed it from the stand point of it being his personal vehicle and knowing how he would like it. This was at no additional charge to me. That speaks volumes. I've been taken (financially) by several auto shops here in the valley (at which all I can name) and no longer feel spite towards those other shops since I have now found a place I can call home. -Vaughn

It's a small simple shop, they actually know your face and name, and work with you on anything you may need. I see Dan's Auto Shop going very far, very soon.
