It's been almost 10 years sinc...

It's been almost 10 years since this woman delivered my child. I will never forget how terrible she was. I have such regrets that I did not switch doctors during my pregnancy- like my gut feeling told me to. It was my first pregnancy, so I was not as informed, had nothing to compare to. I trusted the healthcare providers at the OBGYN office she was employed at during that time (her first position after residency) Looking back...I feel lucky to be alive, that my child is alive and healthy. Not only were her medical choices during my delivery very very negligent, her bedside manner was unreal. (30 plus hours of labor, 5 cycles of piton, no eating or drinking at all not even crackers, followed by c-section). Left out in a "hallway area" alone for post- op period in the most pain I have ever been in like my abdomen was on fire (no pain meds administered in timely fashion). My second c-section was nothing like hers- no pain like that. She did not say a word to me during the delivery accept one rude comment about my life being over because of motherhood! My anesthesiologist actually told me in private to file a report on her because he had never seen such a mishandled c-section. Never saw her again during my time in the hospital- 4 days. Her colleagues apologized to me -that I should have never experienced such a traumatic birth. I was shocked to see the difference in my care for my second pregnancy and birth. It made me angry to realize what terrible healthcare I was given by Morton-Pradhan. She actually coerced me into having a voluntary c-section (when I was 20 weeks pregnant)- telling me a vaginal birth is too scary and dangerous and not even what she chose for her births. Seriously, who promotes (healthcare professional) an elective c-section on a healthy first time to be mother? How weird that years later, I decided to google her name....because every once in awhile I have traumatic memories of such a special time in my life. I hope her former co-workers all know about this drug abuse and the unethical choices she made. I wonder how many other women have had long lasting negative effects from her actions and negligence.

I went to have a consultation ...

I went to have a consultation with this Dr. She could not make eye contact, was sketchy, and reminded me more of a drug user than a Dr. After learning more about her last minute cancellations, and horrible reputation I feel blessed that I steered clear of a potential NIGHTMARE! I don't know what this woman is on..but I wouldn't doubt she is on something!

Love this doctor

Was surfing the net when I came across this review for my doctor. Don't understand how two people can have such different experiences.

Great new office. very nice staff. Dr. M-P did a great job with both my babies. She was always there to answer questions. I guess different people have different experiences, but mine couldn;t have been better.

Love this doctor

Wonderful!

I have been searching for a new obgyn for a few years now with no luck. When I finally got up the will to go to another new office I didnt have high hopes, but after leaving this office I couldn't be happier! I have found my new doctor and am very pleased with the whole staff. Dr. Morton-Pradhan actually listened to all y concerns and did not write me off like so many other of my experiences. I would definitely recommend her to any woman who is looking for a new doctor. You will feel at ease and leave happy, who even knew that was possible after a well-women exam. Thank you Chloe Ob/Gyn!

Good experience

I'm sure all you girls out there just love seeing the gyno-right?

Ya, I love it too.

But I had to write this to let you know not all gynos are scary!

I totally put off going because I'm a curvy girl and I really didn't want meet someone new and then get naked!

I finally worked up the courage to see Dr. Morton-Pradhan because I've been having crazy-heavy periods since I had my last baby. She made me feel totally at ease and listened to my whole crazy list of medical issues. She was totally professional, but at the same time not up -tight or judgemental.

If you have to go get your pap visit and stuff just do it! Go to Dr. MP and she'll make you comfortable.

By the way, I ended up doing that uterus ablation that they do in the office and I haven't had a period since! I can't believe how much better it is to not have a period; not to mention saving a milliion dollars a month on pads and stuff!

The office people were really nice, too.

Nebula is confused...

I think the last reviewer had the wrong doctor or something...I had a great experience with this office. Dr. Morton-Pradhan delivered my baby by emergency c-section and she was great! I was scared but she helped me through it, answered all my questions and I felt really confident it would all be okay-and it was! I have a healthy baby boy!

The doctor spent a lot of time with us at every prenatal visit and made sure all my and my husband's questions were answered. Oh, and we got like a million ultrasound pictures. She definitely visited me every day I was in the hospital.

Long story short- I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Morton-Pradhan/ chloe obgyn.

She is a great doctor and an all around nice person.

I hope all the patients that love Dr. Morton-Pradhan log on and share their experiences! I wouldn't trust my pregnancy to anyone else.

Stay Away

I missed many of my prenatal checkups. Sometimes they told me to reschedule ahead but most of the time I was told to reschedule the appointment only after I waited for hours in her office becuase she had left for emergency csection (whether that is true of just excuse).

She had not checked if my baby was growing well or if I was having problems until I end up on emergency csection.

She had not come to see me in the hospital after that bloody csection until I left the hospital.

She is just a nightmare, she ruined my pregnancy and birth experiance. I pray she will be treated the same way one day.

@mommyflower . I know very well about whom I am talking. All I said is true and I am talking about Dr Susan Morton-Pradhan. After reading all the positive comments I wondered why I was treated so different. And something clicked my mind but I don’t want to call her names or accuse her of something I am not sure of. I live with the consequence of her negligence, so my disappointment with her will stay forever.

I just noticed something. There was no any review written for this doctor before I did. And on 3/10/11 which is around 3 weeks after I wrote that review, 7 reviews were written all on the same day all 5 stars. Is this by coincidence or something is going on???? I hope other readers will also pay attention to this.

@ the office. Instead of trying to correct the review, here please work on your customer care. The review will be corrected on its own way.

I am truly sorry that you feel that way. We try to give all of our patients the best care. There are times however that doctor has to leave the offce to care for a patient who is in trouble. We have a large number of high risk patient's in our office. Dr has always treated all of her patients like they were family. Again I am truly sorry that your experence was not what you wanted.
