Have dealt with this company for years because they stood by a product failure many years ago and made things right with me. Lately however, I find their staff arrogant and prices very high compared to local competition. I feel my loyalty has repaid their earlier honorable actions and I will move on.

I highly recommend Checker Pool and Pump and I suggest the company to all my friends with pools for all their supplies. Not to mention their pool toys last for more than one season so I get my moneys worth all around. These guys are dedicated and extremely knowledgeable and take pride in customer satisfaction. Their annual free hot dog (which I hear are delicious!) days is just another perk of shopping at Checker. Sure the parking lot is small and the building is not very big but they have everything you need with hardworking employees. I'm coming back.

I had more problems than I ever experienced in the 26 years I have woned a pool. After throwing many dollars on the advice of several pool suppliers in Fountain Hills I deciced to go on line and find another supplier. I found Checker and read some of the golwing reviews. So off I went across town to visit Checker and met "JOHN" at the counter. He asked hou can I help you. I began to tell him of the problems I had (pool looked like a swamp). After listening to me for several minutes he said stop and began telling me what to do. He instructed me to take off the top portion of my filter and bring it back. He also said you my need new gasketing on the 2 Jandy valves. I went back home and came back with the top of my filter and he detected the problem and repaired it. He then told me reinstall it and also put the new gaskets on the Jandy's. Then he said add one bottle of algecide and 10 bags of shock to the pool and run the pump around the clook for three days. The result was perfect. John is the most knowledgeable pool guy I have ever run into and will seek any and all advice from him for any problem in the future. I now call him Dr. John. I highly reccommend Checker for any problems and supplies.

The guys at CHECKER have more knowledge than all of the other pool stores combined. They will also share their knowledge and help new comers to succeed. I highly recommend joining the Checker family. I am the owner of a pool service business and when I have questions Checker has given me the right anwsers 100% of the time. It has been a while since I have had a question for them but I look foward to going in their store again!

I have owned several pools here in the valley. The folks at Checker consistently give good advice and fair prices. they are the best I have found.

I was looking for a part for a motor. They didn't have the part I needed so they directed me to another company that rebuilds motors hoping they might be able to help me. A rare find today. I'm keeping their phone number handy for future problems. Trustworthy, honest and very helpful. Even took the time to explain the difference between the two different types of motors used for what I was doing. I would recommend them to anyone.

My words mean very little.. Just visit them if you have a problem, question or any other issue having to do with their business. You will find that you will be treated as if you have been a customer for many years. I bugged them for 3 days with stupid questions. I even had an issue with a o ring that was needing to be replaced. after they did not have it in stock, the owner of the company came over and searched high and low to find a solution. After telling me that he was stumped, he assured me that he would be able to get one for me within days. This is the type of service that is hard to find anymore! Think about it... they spent about 20 minutes on an o-ring. The profit on this can not even be enough to pay for the time invested in me. Stay away from Depot, Walmart and other big companies. Support these guys, these are the companies that built America.

FOR THE PAST THREE YEARS I HAVE SAVED HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS BY BRINGING IN MY OLD POOL PUMP MOTORS (FROM MY RENTAL PROPERTIES AND PRIMARY RESIDENCES) AND HAVING THESE GUYS REBUILD THE MOTOR, IMPELLER REPLACEMENT, BUSHINGS, ROTORS, ETC.THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN PROMPT, EFFICIENT, HONEST, AND VERY INEXPENSIVE WHEN IT COMES TO THE WORK THEY DO AND MY NEIGHBORS LOVE THEM TOO BECAUSE NOW MY PUMPS ARE RUNNING WITH HALF THE NOISE THAT THEY USED TO MAKE, REBUILD THAT MOTOR, DON'T REPLACE IT.THEY WILL WALK YOU THROUGH THE REINSTALL ALSO OVER THE PHONE WHEN YOU RUN INTO ANY PROBLEMS. GREAT BUNCH OF GUYS. GREAT COMPANY!
