One of this guys customers owns a mini van and they towed it here and they said it needed a fuel pump. This was a chrysler with two pumps in one tank. This shop replaced the wrong pump and sent them down the road and the van broke down later. There was fuel leaking all over the ground because the backyard mechanic this guy hired didn't re-install the tank and fuel lines properly and broke the line. So this person called them and they charged this woman for the tow to the cost of over $100.00. The van got there and another person stepped in to check out the fuel pump as they removed the tank again because the van didn't run right since it left this shop. After the tank was removed and while this person was watching..this shop had broken the fuel line connector and used a ZIPTIE to keep it pulled into place instead of getting the short fuel line from the dealer to fix it right. SO this mechanic also left the fuel bracket partway un-fastened so it was leaking a small amount of fuel out of the top of the tank and the so when they ordered a new line, he would not pay for the damages his mechanic caused. It took this lady 4 or 5 visits to this shop to fix a fuel pump properly, they didn't fix right and then charged her full price for not replacing both fuel pumps in the first place. They also left one of the exhausts rubber hangers unhooked. The mechanic replaced the wrong pump because Jim does not hire school trained technicians who know what they are doing. JIM SAID THEY DO NOT EVEN HAVE TECHNICAL SUPPORT VIA THE INTERNET FROM EITHER ALLDATA OR MITCHELL ON DEMAND. NO SHOP CAN FUNCTION WITHOUT THESE SERVICES. This shop also damaged the side of this ladies van and instead of having a body shop repair the damages properly.... Jim did a backyard paint repair and left the door in very bad condition and Jim will not repair the damages so this lady is riding around with a nice van and faded and scuffed paint on the door. It looks terrible too. By the time this last visit was done and repairs were finally done right, the lady was so frustrated that she would never go back here.I BEEN IN THIS BUSINESS MANY YEARS AND I HAVE HAD THE PLEASURE OF WITNESSING THIS DYSFUNCTIONAL SHOP DO BUSINESS AND IT MAKES ME SICK TO SEE THIS GUY RUNNING A BUSINESS AND CHARGING PEOPLE FOR HALF a*s AUTO REPAIRS. IF YOU GO TO THIS DUMPY LITTLE PLACE, YOU'RE GOING TO BE SORRY AND THIS IS NO JOKE. He is not honest and I would not pay any attention to any reports you read here because he most likely wrote them.When we were talking about the two pumps, he had no idea which pump did what function in the tank. SCARY. SERIOUSLY BUYER BEWARE.SIGNED A NEW SHOP THAT'S TRULY HONEST AND TRAINED.Ok maybe this was harsh but I am direct....maybe he could be good at some things but customer satisfaction and proper repair techniques is not one.
