I am a visual merchandiser for many of the malls in the greater Phoenix area. I found BSE maybe six months ago while looking for fixture stores in Phoenix. I found the prices very reasonable, however, the cleanliness of the store and customer service were very poor. One of the worst stores for customer service I have experienced in the 30+ years I have been in this business. Last time I was there, I was told by the elderly man (I think he is the owner) that I was "more trouble than I was worth" (I had asked for matching accessories.) When I told him I had never been treated so poorly before, he proceed to tell me that every time I came in I was returning something. I was shocked by his rudeness and told him I was told by his son that if I did not use the tempered glass they would allow me to return it and since I had purchased a counter from them and the glass did not fit, I saw no reason for me to have to keep something that did not fit. It was about $25 worth of glass. He did not care and became even more rude by telling me he did not want me back in his store. Needless to say I was terribly offended and told him I have spent quite a bit of money in his store (and since I purchase a lot of slat wall and fixtures I would have spent a lot more.) but he smugly said what I have spent was a "piddlence" (I think he meant piddling) anyway, I have never been told not to come back to a store before, in my life, and I am in my 50's. This was the worst I have been treated ever, and I am not usually one to take things personal, but I left with an awful feeling not only about the way I was treated, but that some other customer could possibly be treated in the same way. Oh well. I shook the dust (literally because it is an extremely dirty store) and will honor his request that I not return. I'll find another resource but no one should be treated that way. That is why I am writing this review. If I can save one person from being treated so rudely, I'll have done a good deed. I don't think they are very happy at this store either. I have seen them talk with each other very rudely as well. So pass on the information and save yourself the time and trouble of being treated so rudely. This man obviously does not need the business. Good riddance.

Cheap prices, sometimes can find what you need used. I definitely recommend them!

The 2 men There that I asked to assist me, well, Neither one of them had any type of Customer Service or People Skills! They were Rude and Snobby and I just really couldn't believe it!! I shopped there 3 different occasions, and each time, they were Rude!!! Never again will I shop there!
