We love our new home but it is huge and bright and we have been worried about the rising cost of our electric bill in a new two story home. The house has dual paned windows and seems to be insulated well but so much sun gets inside during the day that it gets pretty warm and it is not yet August and 118 degrees out yet. A friend recommended I call Arizona Solar Control to get a price on putting solar tint in the worst windows to cut down the amount of sun getting in. All of the windows in the read of the house get sun most of the day; through the arcadia doors and stairwell windows too. We decided to add the solar tint to 6 windows and the sliding door. They were very reasonable on price and had the installation complete within two weeks of my first call. The solar tint has really helped to dim the sun down to an appropriate level.

Last year Arizona Solar Control installed a really nice solar window film tint on my upstairs windows. My grandkids are coming over a lot more now and I am always afraid they are going to go right through my arcadia doors.



I called AZ Solar Control back because I remembered they had some sort of security window film as well. The owner Tom, is such a nice guy, he got me scheduled right in. Thursday, they came out and installed the security window film on both doors. They were done quickly, just as nice as I remembered them and now I feel so much better about the doors!

Recently my husband and I decided to install solar window films on some of the windows in our home in Surprise, AZ. We were hoping to reduce our electric bill by keeping the heat out this summer. Even with two AC units, it is still a chore to keep the house cool, especially upstairs during July and August.



After researching a few Window Film companies, we decided on Arizona Solar and another company. We requested a consultation and quote from each company. They were competitive bids but with the 10% discount Arizona Solar offered, combined with the great customer service and easy to sift through website, they won our business! During the consulation, they suggested some really great ideas, like matching the windows in my bathroom with an amazing glass cut stone designed window film; it really made the bathroom look so much better than the curtains I had hung. We addressed the window that got the most all day and direct sun with high quality solar wondow clings and a lighter version on the sliding glass door and great room windows. In my son's room, we installed security window film to help reinforce his window from the dangers of breaking; as well as the rear kitchen window...under my oldest son's basketball hoop.



I am so pleased with the results we got from this home improvement project and further impressed with the level of customer service received from Arizona Solar Control. We will see how much of an effect these changes make on our August electric bill this year and hope to see a reduction in cost for our efforts. For now, the house looks amazing, a real facelift.
