AHS brings in about $13 MILLIO...

AHS brings in about $13 MILLION DOLLARS a year!

The AHS Director makes over $118,000 each year!

American Humane Society volunteers say that AHS has a very casual attitude about killing animals and looks for every possible, flimsy EXCUSE to euthanize them!

AHS has assets of $31 MILLION DOLLARS.

They blow a huge amount of money on everything, EXCEPT caring for their animals.

The Arizona Humane Society's kennels are half empty, because they have already killed most of the potential pets (cats and dogs).

They routinely kill litters of kittens and puppies.

Sixty percent (60%) of all animals turned in to Maricopa County Animal Care and Control (the Phoenix, Arizona "Pound") leave there, ALIVE!

Only forty-five percent (45%) of all animals turned in to the Arizona Humane Society leave there, ALIVE!

The Arizona "Humane" Society states, "We care for over 46,000 animals annually."

What AHS fails to mention is that they KILL the majority of those animals!

They just killed the beloved kitten of a very poor man.

His mother offered to put AHS' required $400 payment on her credit card, over the phone (because she lives in the Mid-West). She also offered to wire the money to her son, so that he could give cash to AHS.

AHS completely refused to wait even a few hours for the money. Instead, they pressured the man to sign his kitten over to them.

The AHS promised the man that they would tend to his kitten's injuries and either give the kitten back to the man or else put it in a foster home.

Instead, they KILLED the kitten, a few hours later!

This man's kitten was his whole life. She helped him stay clean and sober. She was his "baby."

This was not an isolated incident.

What the Arizona "Humane" Society did to this little cat (Scruffy) and its owner was just business, as usual; i.e., standard operating procedure.

My family, friends, co-workers and I have had numerous dealings with AHS, over a period of many years.

I can tell you that AHS does this kind of thing on a regular basis!

They routinely kill cats and dogs, very quickly, within hours after the pets have been surrendered to them.

They treat pets and people like dirt but the truth is coming out, at last.

To add insult to injury, AHS uses a large number of COMPLETELY UNPAID volunteers, which leaves AHS even more money for so-called administrative costs and for the giant salaries of their over-paid Director and other Executive Staff!

Lastly, while some other Arizona animal-rescue organizations have a four-star rating, AHS only squeaked by with a three-star rating.

Why is AHS' rating so low?
