With more than 34,000 members, the Arizona Education Association is one of the largest professional organizations in Arizona. Formed in 1892, the association's members include teachers, community college professors, counselors, speech pathologists, bus drivers, secretaries, retired educators and student teachers that belong to more than 150 local affiliates across Arizona. Based in Phoenix, Ariz., Arizona Education Association offers programs in quality teaching and learning, bargaining and advocacy, government relations, communications and public relations as well as legal services.
