Rented for 4 days mid January. Friendly helpful service. Great car selection and really liked the ability to pick your own car from the lot. The only thing I didn't like was pressure to buy the insurance at $25/day and threat that car rental term would extend for the period of any repairs. Have never succumbed but might sometime consider if more realistically priced.

Rented a car from Alamo Phoenix Sky harbor 11/17-1/21/16. It was fast and easy. Staff did not pressure for insurance when declined. Greet you at cars with water and a smile. Very helpful. Will rent from them again. Would recommend

Appreciated the high energy and helpful fellow handing out water bottles and directing customers. I had to buy from Alamo last minute after a fail from priceline+hertz, out of cars. It was expensive, but very quick and efficient check-out.

I appreciated the effort of car rental rep. I had been given misinformation from Dollar car rental after confirming with them prior to landing and a friend recommended Alamo and the rep with Alamo was awesome and patient. I will use Alamo every time I travel

I recently rented an SUV from Alamo and it was heaven on wheels. Originally, I reserved a full size car but when I arrived at 1:00 am to pick up the car there were no full size cars available. However, without hesitation I was advised to pick a vehicle of my choice without any additional cost. My sister and I enjoyed shopping , it was like being kids in a candy store. Finally, we decided on an SUV which was at least two upgrades from our original choice. Ironically, the SUV was exactly what we needed for our 12 drive to San Francisco. The SUV was practically new. It was a smooth ride and surprisingly it was less in than a twelve dollar difference in gas. I can't say enough how much I enjoyed my trip because of Alamo. I simply appreciate the quality of the customer service my family received at the Sky Harbor location.

I have been renting from Alamo for years, and never had any problems until a few months ago. All 3 cars from my last 3 rentals were very dirty. The last car looked like it was in a flood, and I have the pictures to prove it. I could not believe what I was seeing. Something within their operations has changed. However, when I brought it up to the managers, who were just as shocked as me, they apologized and promised to look into it. Regardless though, I will continue to rent from Alamo, because of my loyalty to the brand.

The pre-check and drive out feature was great. Cars were ready to go and the use of the vehicle was just what we needed. Drop-off was quick, easy and staff friendly.

Great job Alamo. You really made our trip fantastic. The service was above and beyond anything I have seen before.

As always Alamo exceeded our expectations! A great experience. We never rent from anyone else. I booked through Costco and the second driver was free. See you on our next trip Alamo!

My experience gained a lifetime customer! My car was clean and drove wonderfully. I couldn't have asked for a better employee! He was extremely helpful and friendly.

I got a 2015 VW Jetta and it was a great car! The employees I dealt with were also very nice, friendly and professional.

I recently traveled to Phoenix and my experience with Alamo was exceptional. I had a choice of cars to choose from and the staff was very helpful in getting me started on my way since it was my first time in the area. Next time, Alamo, again!!!

I had a great experience with Alamo except the inside of the car could have been cleaner.....I don't fall for upsells....also I booked using Costco and the second driver was free....

I rent from Alamo most of the time, but the Sky Harbor Alamo is the WORST location I have ever rented from, mostly due to the hard sell of upgrades and outright lies. The employees must get a huge commission for upsells and addons. The agent at the counter even told me that my credit card wouldn't pay for any damages. I asked her if she had ever heard of my (very elite) card. She said, "No, but no credit cards will cover damages." What a lie!!! If I ever am in Phoenix again, I will not use Alamo!

We were extremely disappointed with our recent experience with Alamo Rental Car. We searched for rental cars and rates online and chose Alamo because its rates were competitive. However, when picking up our car at the desk, I asked the desk clerk if he needed my wife's drivers license. His response was will your wife also be driving the car? I said maybe and he responded that would be a $11.00 per day additional charge. I asked if all rental companies had this additional charge and his response was that about half of them did have an additional charge. Accordingly, half do not, which is significant since the rental charge was listed as $15.00, but with the additional driver charge of $11.00, the actual rental charge was $26.00 per day, significantly more than Alamo's advertised price of $15.00 per day. I believe most customers assume that husband and wife renters will not be charged an additional driver charge. Moreover, If I had not asked the desk clerk, he would not have advised me that my wife was not allowed to drive the car.
