Over the course of my training, I’ve learned the use of the hand should not be taken for granted. I take pride in carefully listening to patients, which leads to a correct diagnosis and optimal treatment results. I look forward to giving patients back their function, through both non-operative and operative means. I attended medical school at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM), finishing in the top quintile. After medical school, I continued my time at PCOM, and trained as a resident in orthopedic surgery. It was during this time I developed an interest in the detail-oriented and creative nature of hand surgery. I then completed additional training in hand and upper extremity surgery at the world-renowned Christine M. Kleinert Institute for Hand and Microsurgery in Louisville, KY. There I learned the most up-to-date surgical techniques for the treatment of fractures, arthritis, tendonitis, ligament injuries and nerve compression, as well as microsurgery of the nerves and vessels. Additionally, I participated in research during this training with accepted publications in scientific and clinical peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Hand Surgery. Born and raised in northeastern Pennsylvania, I am excited to return to the area and look forward to seeing patients as a part of the St. Luke’s orthopedic team. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching New York Yankees baseball, playing the guitar and road cycling.
