Here at YAY CLAY it is all about having a great time learning, challenging yourself and creating beautiful lasting works of art. Currently we are offering multiple clay class options for you to choose from. Our current special is a wonderful day to share the joy of creativity and imagination with your child. Spend 2 hours side-by-side learning the basic skills needed for each of you to construct beautiful clay projects.Choose between two unique workshops. The Potter's Wheel workshop will introduce you and your child to the techniques needed to throw bowls/plates on the wheel. The Hand Building workshop will provide you and your child (age 4 or older) with the ability to build and assemble with clay to make unique projects.  Workshop includes a demonstration and hands-on clay experience. Tools will be provided - Your project will be glazed by our staff with a glaze you choose. The pieces are then high fired in our kilns, and are fully functional stoneware pieces which will be safe for food, dishwashers and ovens. Finished glazed pieces will be ready for pick up one week after completion of the workshop. If you are not seeing something we offer that you would like offered, let us know. We create custom classes based on customers needs. So go ahead, create your own unique workshop and mix between hand building and throwing on the pottery wheel.
