This is seriously the tastiest pizza that I have ever eaten. Everything is fresh, from the toppings to the dough to the cheese to the sauce. Nothing sold here comes from a box, can, freezer, etc. They actually make their own sauce with fresh tomatoes, not the horrible canned nonsense all other pizzerias use. Pizza Brain's prices are LOW when compared to the competition, especially considering that Brain includes tax. And no I don't work for them, I just love to praise great businesses and trash awful ones.

Pizza Brain sells the best tasting pizza in Philly. They are the only pizzeria whose ingredients are invariably fresh and of superior quality, even the tomatoes used in their sauce. The other so-called best of Philly parlors use CANNED tomatoes in their sauce. I am a former chef who worked at a high-end restaurant, so I know freshness and quality when I taste it!
