The Fabric Workshop and Museum (FWM), founded in 1977, is recognized as an internationally acclaimed contemporary art museum, uniquely distinguished as the only institution in the U.S. devoted to creating work in new materials and new media in collaboration with artists drawn from all disciplines through its Artist-in-Residence program. The Museum, free and open 7 days a week, features: an onsite screen-printing and studio workshops; in-house and touring exhibitions; a Museum Shop filled with a multitude of functional objects, multiples created by artists-in-residence, and FWM publications; an extensive permanent collection; and comprehensive educational programming.

Would recommend, but not here.

It has moved to Arch Street, in a temporary location. Take the time to check it out!

Neat Museum

This museum has moved to a temporary space on Arch Street, near the convention center. The gift shop is cute. The exhibits rotate. There are often really interesting exhibits. The lady who works at the gift shop is really nice.
