You never know what you're going to get with a service company. This one was professional, prompt and knew their business! The service man who called to fix our refrigerator could have come right out of a TV commercial for appliance repair. He tested, he summarized the problem and then went about fixing it. Parts and testing equipment were all over our kitchen floor, but you hardly knew the guy was there and work was being done. Sometimes service is a pain. This certainly was a pleasant surprise. Hats off to Quaker City Service!

I completely agree - BY FAR THE WORST COMPANY EVER!!! The service tech showed up at our house under the influence. Refused to service our washing machine because one of the other tech's from Quaker City Service had order the a part based on the error code we had provided the company. Thus, accusing of with self diagnosing our Maytag washer.

Where in reality, the tech was angry and intoxicated. He tripped of his won two feet when he was standing on our front door mat. Dropped his metal clip board which left a big chip in out hardware floors. Could barely make it up the stairs to the second floor while dragging his tool bag against our freshly painted walls.

On the way out he almost fell going down the front stairs. Accusing me for his lack of balance and shouting to the neighbor, "did you see that, did you see that." He then proceeded to trip over a flower pot and fall.

I then called Quaker City to speak to a supervisor or a manager, but there isn't one??? This company is a complete fraud. I am filling with the BBB.

Great response , repair by , Tom , arrived on time installed a new part in twenty minutes . Washer is now working great.

Awful!!! Close to $350 to replace ice maker in a Kitchen Aid refrigerator. Serviceman was not able to give me a price breakdown. I reasearched ice maker prices before he arrived an they listed between $45 and $60. Told him that and he adamantly disagreed. Told him that I needed to speak to a supervisor and his response was that I had to wait unt the next day. I called kitchen aid part center after he left and ordered the part for $43.55 plus shipping. I received a call the next morning from someone and he insisted there was no way the ice maker was that price and then started telling me how he has to pay employees and insurance blah blah blah. I will be using another company if I can't install it. It will still be cheaper than this company. DO NOT USE!! Oh, forgot to say that he came with the wrong ice maker because he was given the wrong model number from an incompetent employee.

They have come out multiple times claiming to have fixed my dishwasher and yet the problem persists. The repair guys have been late, rude and one smelled like alcohol. This company is SHADY, steer clear!

ZERO STARS!!!! Quaker City Appliance Repair is a Maytag subcontractor for warranty & service plans. Tech came out on 5/23 told me my washer bearing had broken and cost was over the limit of my plan -not true -REPAIR PLUS 1 covers repair plus an additional year warranty. He had to get authorization and order parts before this could be fixed. Got Authorization on 5/27 then ordered parts which finally came in on 6/3.They were supposed to finally come on 6/9/16 to fix my washer. But the parts that were ordered did not include the bearing kit -7 other parts including a rotor, RPS, etc. were charged to my contract so I requested the old ones to be sure these were used on my job. Quaker City called my husband said they refused to show what parts were to be used and would not do the repair- told my husband to GO TO HELL! It seems they have something to hide or they would not be upset by showing what they are actually replacing.

I had a great experience with Quaker City. my dishwasher was leaking so I called into their office. I was able to schedule an appointment for the very next day. The technician arrived within the time frame they provided. Found out that it was leaking due to a defective seal. He had the parts on his truck and was able to fix it that same day. He answered any questions I had in a pleasant manner and the price was very reasonable. Everyone from the person who scheduled my appointment to the technician, were very kind and professional. I will definitely use them again in the future and refer them to others.

Very happy with my service from Quaker City. They fixed my dishwasher that was not draining. From the moment that I called they were extremely helpful and professional. I was told they would be there between 9 and 11 and they arrived at 10:22. The repair tech was skilled, professional, and extremely nice. I recommend this company to everyone in the area.

EXCELLENT Service all around!!! I expected to be disappointed based on several reviews; and a non-existent appointment supposedly scheduled by an inept Whirlpool representative however, from my first call to Quaker City, Dawn and Alyssa made sure my appointment went through correctly by contacting the Whirlpool representative directly to help her schedule the appointment correctly and followed up with me by calling me to confirm the appointment!! Now THAT'S good customer service!! The technician Roger Carlin was professional, polite, knowledgeable and very helpful with advice to better utilize my appliances. He patiently answered my numerous questions, ordered the necessary parts and returned when he said he would to make the repairs. Quaker City surpassed all my expectations and I'm happy I used their services, would recommend them wholeheartedly and would definitely use them again. Kudos to all!!!

On time. Very professional. Fixed our microwave the first time. I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Today Paul came to service my KitchenAid refrigerator. He was very knowledgeable and courteous. Overall a very good experience and would recommend this company in the future.

I had service on my Refrigerator 11/16/15 by Quaker City Service and it was a pleasant experience. The Technician was on time and very professional. I would highly recommend Quaker City Service

Great company...diagnosed my washer and had the parts in stock on their truck. Quick and easy service!

CLUELESS REPAIRMAN! 10 DAYS AND COUNTING AND I STILL DON'T HAVE A WORKING DRYER. Which by the way is ONLY 3 months old. If you own a Whirlpool don't use this Company. They repair Maytag models NOT Whirlpool.

This company was awful to my husband and I this morning -- both the scheduled technician and the representatives at the main number. Our stove is on warranty from Ikea, and Ikea made the service appointment for us. They only had weekdays available, so when we were offered an 8-12 time slot, my husband took the morning off from work (we both have 9-5 jobs, and have to give some notice to take time off). The morning of our appointment, we received a call from the technician letting us know that he'd be there between 2:30 and 4:30. I said, politely, that there must have been a mistake -- our appointment was for the morning.



First words out of the technician's mouth?



"I'VE BEEN DEALING WITH THIS FOR 30 YEARS. I WILL NOT BE IN YOUR AREA THIS MORNING."



I was mid-commute, and also couldn't believe his tone, so I got off the phone pretty quickly and texted my husband, who tried calling the technician and then the Quaker City main number. He's a pretty reasonable person, but the representative he spoke with was so rude to him that he ended up telling them to just cancel our appointment altogether.



We'll be writing to Ikea (whose customer service is great, coincidentally) to ask them not to align themselves with this type of business in the future.



If you must work with Quaker City, just know that their time is much more important than yours, and make sure you have all day to sit around your house waiting.

Terrible human beings! Bought a washer from Home Depot for my 80 year old mother less than 1 year ago and was told they were they only repair shop to service in her area. Set up the appointment but then called back to make sure they give her enough time to get to the door( she has a stair lift) so I requested them give her extra time to answer the phone or door. A woman who answered said.."We don't do that! If she doesn't answer we leave!" I live in NJ, work in Langhorne I tell her so PLEASE try! The guy finally does show and tells my mom the machine is infested and it is not in warranty! I called a exterminator, he came and checked the machine..nothing. We called home depot who sent another service request to them to which they called my mother the morning of the appointment..leaving her a nasty voicemail.."We aren't coming back, we are NEVER coming back, don't call here again!" We called Home Depot who actually found ANOTHER place and I was at her house when THIS repairmen showed. I watched him take the control panel off..no bugs. NOT ONE. NO BUG DIRT. I had to take time off of work just to make sure of this and have been ferrying laundry from delaware county to NJ for a couple of weeks when this could have been fixed by these douches a while ago! AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE! And I WILL be posting this everywhere and on Home Depot's site as well!

My washer is a little over four years old. The lid would not stay up. Quaker City Service came out and replaced the door hinges. The repairman was very prompt and nice. The charge for the repair was reasonable. I would use/recommend this company in the future.

I would highly recommend this service company. I just purchased a Whirlpool Refrigerator. The day the unit was installed into my home, the water switch would not turn off. The dealer where I purchased the unit, and who was installing it, called into Quaker City Service for service. I was scheduled for the very next day. I was told when I was scheduling the appointment that I would not get a time frame the night before, but that a tech would call me in the morning between 8-9 A.M to give a window. This was a little frustrating since I could not plan out my day, but I put in a request to have morning service. The day I was scheduled, the technician called at 8:15 and gave me a time frame between 9:30-11:30. He came to my home within the time frame, and had the part needed to fix my refrigerator in his truck. While it was unfortunate to need service on a brand new refrigerator, I was very impressed by the way I was treated by Quaker City Service.

I would never recommend this company for service. The tech that was sent was rude and made me feel that it was my fault that my new refrigerator (1 week old) was not working properly. On a return visit he was even ruder saying that he didn't think I had given enough time for the refrigerator to work. In the meantime the refrigerator is still not working.
