when you go to genus steak and order a cheese steak sandwich like you going to plz these assohole in side the store treated like chit

I also reviewed Pat's which is across the street. Both are good but I have had better in other places.

Def not the greatest cheesesteak but not as bad as the reviews on here.

I can't believe that I'm the first one to review this place! Well, the question is, Pat's or Geno's? Geno's or Pat's. Bring a big appetite to Passayunk Ave. and try both as they are on opposite corners. Safe neighborhood.

Geno's steaks are made of half gristle, half poop. At least, that's how they taste. There is nothing to recommend this filthy slime pit, save for the pretty lights which are only visible at night. Spend your cheesesteak money at Chinkk's, Pat's, Rick's, or Tony Luke's. Yeah, those places are dirty, too, but their food tastes infinitely better.

All i have to say is if u go there just expect to be treated like S***!!n Pats n Jims steaks are better. The owner passed away that's sad but he was a racist ahole. also If u don't speak English don't even waste your time.

my advise is to stay home don't believe the hype. geno's is just a hyped up fast food drive that is living on good publicity

I think the bread is better than Pats but the wizz could be runnier. The price is flat out too high (almost $15) for a mediocre sandwich fries and a drink.

All around a good cheese steak.

MMM! love those rock hard buns and YUMMY! huge chunks of over cooked dry ground-beef tasting steak. And what's that? Puke on the sidewalk? YES PLEASE! We call that a Tuesday @ Geno's. Order the fries and bring them to Jim's so you can get a real steak.

We came all the way from Buffalo N.Y.and the Poconos just to try Geno's Philly steak.Boy,were we disappointed.The steak was COLD and they just plopped on 2 slices of COLD provolone cheese and sent us on our way.There were pigeons all around us,and It was dirty.This place is highly overrated.
