DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I chose this company because their rates were competitive and they were local. Sadly I should not have. Not only did they bend metal parts of some of my furniture (that stuff can happen) two of the movers dislodged my front door and broke the door frame! After 1 month they sent one of the movers to my home with a drill and liquid nails! Really?!?! He promised that a contractor would return within a week. No one! I have spent the last 2 months emailing, sending pictures, being patient waiting for calls from the owner Shavu Jackson all to no avail. The job was paid for in cash (first mistake) and I have my contract which states they would pay for all damages. They haven’t. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

The movers arrived 5 hours late. They were not careful during the move and scratched a lot of my furniture. One mover broke a family heirloom beyond repair by carelessly kicking it over. Management has been very unprofessional handling the matter - they ignore my emails and make me jump through hoops to reimburse me for the damages. It has been 3 months and I have yet to see any progress. They delete my negative comments on social media. Do not use this company if you value your hard earned money!

These men were on time and they Did their job in a timely manner. They were pleasant. I really appreciate Mike and the other two guys (I forgot their names). Moving can be a stressful time, and these me alleviated some of my stress today. Thank u! If I ever run into anyone who is moving, I would definitely recommend this company. :-)

One of the best teams! Mallik, Rajaee and Henry were awesome. Very truthful, sincere movers. Great management! I moved a full 2 BHK Apt stuff locally (from Conshy to Boothwyn ~25 miles). Costed me less than $400 (including tip). They have all the equipments/tools needed to quickly move your stuff. All fragile items very handled very carefully. I would definitely go with these guys the next time I move. Highly recommend them!!!

Elvis Dirt Cheap Movers are not to be trusted!!! They are rude,liars and theives. The management is very rude. I hired this company to move me from one residence to the next, they were two hours late i was told the reason for this was because someone did not show up for work (are you kidding me). Several items were stolen from me including jewelry. This was reported at once, the company was totally uncooperativeand very RUDE. If you want to pay someone to move you and in addition ROB you then these are the movers for you. OTHERWISE DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!!!!

This is the best moving company in Philly. I have used this company about 6 times over the years and it still amazes me the caliber of employees that they have. When it comes to being polite, thorough and hard working, they are in a class by themselves. They wrap fragile pieces with care (Not one item was scratched, or broken).

The company is to be commended because it seeems that each new employee is taught the company policy about how customers are to be treated, because they all have the same work ethic.

agree with Citygirlie when I say that Elvis Dirt Cheap Moving Co had absolutely the WORST management I have ever experienced.



Again, they were late and showed up well after our scheduled move time. We similarly tired to reschedule but were fed a host of reasons why that "would not be possible". The truck that was sent was extremely small even though it was clearly described how much stuff had to be moved. With few guys and a small truck it only makes sense that the move ran over. Elvis Dirt Cheap Moving Co is now harassing us for payment that we denied them due to major issues we had with the company.



The management continues to claim that as long as the job has been completed they deserve to be paid - my take on this is that between the damages, the inability to complete the job on any sort of a time schedule, and the managements inability to control employees who are rude to clients they do not deserve to be paid in full. Why should I have every opportunity to return something I do not like to a department store and not the same opportunity to return Elvis Dirt Cheap Moving Co their terrible services.



Please consider this review. They are genuinely terrible. You are wasting both your patients and your time with this company.

The sad facts are as follows:



1. Elvis DCM showed up @ 5:00 p.m. - they had been hired to arrive at 1:00 p.m.



2. We begged to reschedule - but management told us it was not possible and that if we did - they would not be available for a couple of weeks.



3. They sent only 3 guys - even though more were requested.



4. The move ended up running into the night - we finished @ 12:00 a.m.



5. The movers reported to us that management had completely forgotten to put us on the calendar. Which explains the 4 hr delay and the lack of bodies.



6. I ended up carrying enough boxes to strain my lower back.



The guys that worked with us were absolutely fantastic and as night night dragged on this became more and more evident. They were clearly not responsible for the extreme screw-up that had occurred earlier in the evening. Upon calling management at the end of the job - by the time I finally got them on the phone it was 1:30 a.m. - I told them that I was no willing to pay the $799 they were demanding for the variety of reasons listed above. They threatened to take me to court and attempted to pacify me with a $99 discount. The management of this company makes them impossible to work with. I intend to get this message out on every review website I can find. Please heed my advice and go with a different company because although the guys on the job are great - you are dealing with management in the end.

Please beware these people are lairs and thieves. As I was walking back to my car I witnessed a "Elvis dirt cheap moving and storage" truck smash into the side of my car. To my amazement the truck driver continued down the road thinking nobody saw the incident. I ran after the vehicle for a block screaming at the driver to stop but they continued on their way. The damages to my car were in excess of $2,500.00 and they refuse to take an responsibility. These people are criminals and I strongly suggest you choose a different moving company before a similar situation occurs to you!

Elvis dirt cheap moving movers are very fast they get in and get you moved very quickly! I've used them 3 times and they never took more than 3 hours
