This is by far the best campground we've been to. Everything is well maintained. There's always something going on. I highly recommend it.

Would not camp any where else. Great staff and seasonal campers, safe, clean friendly atmosphere. Very well kept. Pat and Sonnie are always looking out for the safety of the campers. They hold several charity events to raise money for people struggling with illness or other battles. This is a place that is home away from home.

best campground ever!!!

I dont know if i can say how nice of a campground pirolli park is. I will start by saying the park looks amazing everything is trimmed and well kept. I just checked out the new bath house and they are awesome super clean. The staff was so nice. I dont know how anyone would have a problem with them. There is so much to do there. Every saturday hey have an auction and have a lot of good stuff there. Also every weekend they have something cool going on like a pig roast, corn hole tournament, or there annual car show. I almost forgot there halloween weekends are awesome exspecially there haunted hayride and the best part is its free. There store is the best it has everything you need for camping and they have the best food. The rates are good and you get free cable. All in all one of the best campgrounds i have ever been too

Stay away!!! Firstly, it's ...

Stay away!!!

Firstly, it's not that cheap @ $36 a night for what they offer. You also have to go down a boneshaking road to get there.

Secondly, we explicitly explained to the night guy our need for for 110 volt ac, that we didn't have a rv hookup, that all our electical appliances needed charging and what a diaster the previous night had been putting 2 babies to bed without being able to play their bedtime dvd and music because of a rv hookup. He assured us no problem, had the kind of connection you could plug an everyday extension cord into.

After popping up the camper we inexplicably found ourselves staring at a rv hookup. When we told him we had to leave he swore he had an adapter. After a couple of hours of putting 2 screaming kids to sleep I found no sign of an adapter and no sign of Chris.

Thirdly, when I talked to the owner, forget about an apology. This 'businesswoman' was screaming into the phone. She launched into a crazed diatribe. She culminated with a dubious story how Chris had came to her house, woke her up to get an adapter, came back but apparently decided not to plug it in for us. She made little sense and wouldn't let me speak. Hard to believe this woman works in the recreation/ tourist trade.

this man did not pay! just left before the store opened, was rude to night staff, adn once he was set up , he would not open the door to receive an adapter. we have a complaint with the monroe county sheriif dept.we only had a license plat number to trace him. he was traveling and complained about the previous night .We wonder how many other parks he stayed the night and used the facilitie with out paying! Loser!!!

Excellent campground

I have been camping at this campground for over ten years and 3 years as a seasonal. I find the owners to friendly and accommodating. The campground is clean and great place to relax. One of the great things of this campground is that they have a security team which is friendly and willing to help out anyone that needs assistance. The campground has an excellent well stocked store and outstanding deli which has the best pizza by far. Great place to camp.

Wonderful!

In my experience, Pirolli Park is a clean and friendly place, safe and full of acticities for all ages. There is nothing like their hand tossed pizza and they make their own sauce! I have never had a problem at all. Of course I try to be courteous and kind and don't expect a campground to be the Waldorf Astoria. Camping is an outdoor experience and there are rules that must be followed for the safety of all. Unfortunately, there are people who simply refuse to believce rules apply to them and cannot be pleased no matter what the situation. Keep up the wonderful work Pirolli's!!

clean and friendly

we spent our family reunion here and are delighted. It is very clean and the security guys couldn't do enough for us! Our kids rode bikes all day, the park has many trails and open fields, they were never bored, baseball field, volleyball, basketball, bike trails in the woods and 2 playgrounds for our little ones. The store was immactulate with great food and reasonable prices.what a friendly place to bring the family--we will return. Thank you to the owners for doing a fine job, we heard they have been in business for 30 some years,

Beautiful gone bad

We stayed at Pirolli park over Memorail day week end. We had a motor home but we had 6 friends with tents, by Saturday night the out houses were full and when we asked for them to be cleaned, first they said sure and then they said Tuesday. Needless to say we were not very happy. Some one came and thru a bucket of water in and broomed them but they were still full of waste and no toilet paper. When we complained we were told we were disrespectful and mean. But the Pirolli Park has false advertisement regarding clean rest room and nice people. And needless to say we will keep our 30 people and over $1000.00 charges paid to a more deserving, clean and nice people.

I remember this and I am sorry that the toliets were not able to be pumped out by the septic tank co. I did try to clean them and I did put toliet paper in them but the toliet paper rack is locked and I kept sitting paper in them, someone kept stealing the paper. I used 22 rolls of paper in 1 1/2 days. Sorry for the inconvience.
