I'm a mother of two, my children both see Dr. K and Dr. T. the staff is friendly and they work with your schedule and my children's school schedule. the atmosphere is very inviting to children and parents, mostly children. Both of my children had to get teeth pulled and they both did great. Dr. K called and checked on my children both times in the evening to make sure they were ok. They also do a great job in explaining everything to me and my children about what is going on with their teeth. I just today recommended this place to another mother and her 3 year old mother.

My children have been to several pediatric dentists in the past. I have 7 children so I know what a good dentist is. I recently found Chesapeake Pediatric Dental and I am so happy. They took the information about my child and all of my insurance information. I told them than he was having pain in one of his teeth and they set up an appointment for me for the next day. The office is wonderful, it has everything a child and parent could want including 2 wii systems and a tv for movies (classic). Everyone was kind and helpful. I was nervous because my son had so many cavities I thought they would accuse me of not brushing his teeth. As it turns out it is a genetic disorder that he has his teeth come in before all of the enamel is formed, not our fault. The doctor was kind and gentle and explained everything to me and my son. They set up two appointments for light sedation to get his whole mouth taken care of. The morning of the sedation they gave us a portable dvd with a children's movie playing and let us sit in a quiet room while the medicine took effect. They were very caring and let me know exactly what was happening. The doctor called each evening to see how he felt. I have bad insurance through medical assistance and I was treated like any other patient with expensive insurance. This man is so caring and mild mannered, I wish he could be my dentist. He cares about the child, not just his teeth and keeping on schedule. He takes time with mom and child. The staff has been wonderful with me. I SAY GO, GO, GO- YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU DID.

My asthmatic son was a patient and had dental work done by Dr. T. When he started experiencing pain and I contacted the office to schedule an appointment, the office manager was very rude and only concerned with getting updated insurance information. When she finally received the information she still never inquired about the pain my son was in and never scheduled the appt. When I asked Dr. T to call me to discuss my son's condition, I never recevied a call and when I called back I was told he was being dismissed by the practice and that Dr. T would only see my son if it was an emergency. This practice has very little regard for an asthmatic patient who may not make appointments for procedures due to his asthma or for good customer service.
