Extremely FRESH COFFEE! Some of the freshest that I have had and I am pushing 55! Wow, my favorite is the Americano with an extra shot of espresso! DAILY! Great Saturday morning JAZZ! The best and FASTEST service in Pensacola!

I am addicted to the Drowsy Poet! I would have to say it's the best coffee shop I've been to. It has a warm, cozy atmosphere where one can relax and enjoy an excellent cup of coffee. The menu at the Drowsy Poet includes delicious coffee concoctions to suit anyone's tastes, as well as freshly made baked goods to satisfy even the biggest sweet tooth! The service here is friendly and prompt, and my order has never been messed up! I would definitely recommend the Drowsy Poet to anyone who is looking for the best possible coffee shop experience.

You stop by this locally owned & operated coffee shop, perhaps because you don't feel like driving further down the road to that "other" coffee place. Maybe you are a little nervous as you place your order, hoping the coffee will be at least decent. Then you realize that everyone behind the counter is smiling, and friendly towards you, the other customers, and each other as they go about their tasks. You notice the decor as you wait for your order, and realize there is a unique and pleasant atmosphere in this little shop. Then, the moment of truth...your order arrives. The aroma is fabulous as you deeply inhale a little bit of heaven and as you take that first sip, you realize you have been missing out on perfection your entire life before this moment in time.
