Located in Pensacola, Fla., Washington High School offers education to students in grades nine through 12. Its business technology education department offers classes in accounting, computer programming and digital and Web design. The school provides classes in family and consumer science, language arts, journalism, marketing and mathematics. It has a media center offering collection of more than 17,000 books, magazines and over 1,300 multimedia items. Washington High School has over 30 computer stations and database with on- and off-campus student access. The school also provides special education programs in co-teaching, job training, life skills management, behavioral science, a hearing impaired program, vision services, and speech, physical and occupational therapies. The school s athletic programs include baseball, basketball, cheerleading, cross country, football, golf, soccer and softball.
