Every time we went, the service was slow and the waitresses were always loud and obnoxious behind the counter. We went because it was conveinent and the food was decent. Got a groupon and returned and they used this nasty salmon fish paste for the sushi instead of actual fresh slices of samon in the sushi. They put hot sauce in it to mask the taste of the fish paste. Awful. We haven't gone back. Bad service and bad food means no business from us.

Got take out and noticed that the sushi had fish eggs on it, when I asked them not to...honest mistake. Went back in and they made a new one...looked fine through the box. Got home to realize fish eggs were all mixed in with the rice (they gross me out). Called to tell them I wanted a refund because I wasn't going to drive back all that way. They called me a liar and wouldn't refund the money. I drove back to show the manager that said I was lying. He wouldn't even come out, he sent a waitress to look. They then decided to refund me that portion of the meal, however, I spent my time and gas money to get there twice! They didn't offer any type of apology or anything to make me feel like they were wrong. I realize people make mistakes, but to accuse me of lying and then do nothing to apologize is unacceptable. I liked the food at the David Hwy location, but the 9 mile location's food is horrible. They are also over priced. You can get equal food at many other chinese places around town for much less.

We found this place while looking for something to eat late Christmas Eve (2008). We actually stopped by the Arby's and saw the "open" sign on and pictures of teriyaki chicken and sushi and said, "What's that?" We shared a Bento Box with a double helping of the Teriyaki Chicken and a Shrimp Tempura Roll with cream cheese added and then deep fried. It was like candy! This became our Christmas Eve dinner spot. We returned this year and were certainly not disappointed. My wife isn't really a big Japanese or oriental food eater, but she loves it.

I work at Omni Health & Fitness, and in weekends we don't leave for lunch breaks, which makes Teriyaki Cafe sooooo convinient!

this is a great little resturant. I love their sushi! I tried their Rock N Roll sushi roll... amazing! I also LOVE their fried rice. their beef broccoli was a little weird.. didn't taste normal to me. Prices are very resonable!

They made the small, hole in the wall Asian food joint into a place where you actually want to eat at and possibly even take a date.



The atmosphere is casual and fairly small yet pretty authentic looking. The staff is friendly and fast paced. The prices are what you would expect from a semi-fast food Asian restaurant but you get a little more than you'd expect out of it.



The Teriyaki Chicken is what I swear by since it is the best I've ever had. They have a great Sushi menu and don't mind making special custom rolls. I've sampled other people's orders as well to great satisfaction. The taste and definitely the atmosphere put my recent favorite Asian joint to shame.



Teriyaki Cafe is not a five star, super-fine restaurant but I give it five stars on taste and service.
