We have been in the Perdido Key, FL area since December 2015 & I found this pet salon for our 2 Chihuahuas. The staff is always extremely nice & friendly, the puppies love them. We will continue to use this pet salon until we leave the area in January 2017. They are amazing and treat our girls great.

I had an issue with communication, but almost immediately spoke to the owner and had it corrected. My family and I certainly do appreciate the timely response on the matter.

We took our two foul smelling and nasty dirty labs to these folks after a call that allowed an appt same day three hours later. 2 1/2 hours later I retrieved two clean and nice appearing dogs with trimmed claws and cleaned ears and well brushed coats. Friendly, accomodating, professional and efficient. And very reasonably priced. This was our first trip and since we were not asked to never return with these two, we will return. Thank you again.

Forget about going to the places with names that sound like they are all about your puppy!!! This place is the place to go!!! My family and I first feel in love with the way the staff assisted us over the phone. When we pulled into the parking lot, my kids loved the sign with a dog in a Blue Angel jet! We went in and they had other pets walking around and looking so at home! We dropped our puppy off for a quick trim, nails clipping, etc. They called us later when he was ready and boy did he look so amazing! He was so happy and even had a snazzy bandana around his neck! We are not going anywhere else for our puppy and any future furry family members that may come along. They are, by far, worthy of 10 stars!

I recently boarded three of my dogs with Blue Angel Pet Salon. I couldn't be happier. I checked around and found that they had the lowest prices. I met with the owner to go over my dogs special needs and what a great guy! They are willing to do whatever it takes to take care of your babies. While I was on vacation I called to check on my dogs and they always were able to tell me exactly how they were doing. I asked to have my one dog groomed before my return and it was the best groom she has ever received and it was also about 20 dollars cheaper than I am used to. They also gave my 2 other dogs a bath for free! I cant say enough about the staff there. They have a customer for life with me!

If you TRULY love your pets and treat them as a member of the family, PLEASE avoid this substandard and inadequate substitute for a boarding facility. After speaking to the owner about boarding my dogs, I thought I located a suitable kennel. The owner was very nice on the phone and informed me the kennel was on his property and the dogs would be monitored even after normal business hours. The owner also stated an arrival of 6pm was "no problem". When I arrived, the owner wanted me to complete basic paperwork at the grooming salon(vaccine record not required) and then wanted to load my dogs in his van and drive them across the street to the kennel-Site Unseen!I asked if I could view the kennel. I found it somewhat odd for me to just drop off my dogs without seeing the area they would spend three nights. The owner hesitated for a moment and then agreed. After driving across the street, the owner allowed me into the "kennel" area and introduced me to his daughter-only staff member at the kennel. After a few minutes, the owner left the area and I proceeded to explain the feeding routine of the dogs to the owner's daughter. The next day I called the owner about bringing medicine for one of my dog's that has cancer. The owner informed me it was after hours and neither he nor his daughter was at the kennel and "it was not a 24 hour operation". I informed the owner I would come by the next day during business hours. The owner wanted me to drop off the medicine at the salon across the street. The next day I arrived at the salon around 3:30pm. I told one of the groomer's I would like to visit with my dogs. The groomer called the owner and instead of allowing me to drive across the street to the "kennel", the owner put my dogs in his van and drove over to the salon. I said hello to the owner as he was unloading my dogs and asked him how he was doing. The owner stated, " I have to tell you the truth. This is a big disruption-you wanting to come by and visit your dogs". I said, " I didn't think it would be a problem to visit my dogs for a few minutes". The owner went on to say I disrupted the whole kennel operation. I was very saddened by this comment and did not feel welcomed. The owner continued to rant and then stated, " no one comes by to visit their pets". I asked the owner. Doesn't anyone come by to visit their pets? The owner said no. People drop off their pets and go out of town. By this time, I am visually upset but the owner continued to say, " I was not thinking about his business but only thinking about my dogs"! Well of course, I am thinking about my dogs. I thought my dogs were his business. The owner also told me he had to pay his daughter an hour of overtime due to the time I was there. As I was visiting with my dogs, the owner asked me if it would be better that I take my dogs with me when I leave. I really didn't have a choice at this point. I agreed and had the owner gather my dog's belongings so I could leave. As the owner proceeded to finalize my bill, I was in tears at this point and told him I didn't know I could not visit my dogs while they were boarded. I was only on a three day vacation but it turned out to be a nightmare. The owner of this salon and makeshift kennel has obviously taken on more than what he can handle and is only concerned with making money and is poorly staffed. As stated when I arrived, his daughter runs the kennel. I then had a small amount of time to find another kennel for one night. Fortunately, I found Canal Road Animal Hospital in Orange Beach - well worth the drive. The staff was phenomenal and operated as a normal business.

This customer called our shop to make reservations for her dogs and said she was coming in from Vagas. We made the reservation and a few days later she showed up and was actually from Mississippi and that is where her dogs Vet is located. She showed up at 6pm which is no problem and asked to see the kennel which is no problem. We came back to the grooming shop to do the paper work and when I was ready to take the dogs to the kennel she said she wanted to take them there herself. I agreed and we went to the kennel where one of our six employees was in the process of walking and feeding the other borders. This lady then spent over an hour and a half telling her dogs goodbye. She sat in the kennel and hugged and kissed them until after 8pm. The next evening she called after 7pm and said she needed to give her dog some medicine. I told her I would be happy to meet her at the shop and take the medicine to the dogs for her and she said she wanted to put the medicine in her dogs mouth herself. I agreed to meet her and then she said there really was no medicine she just wanted to visit her dogs, she missed them. The next day she showed up and said she wanted to visit the dogs again so I told her I would bring the dogs to her at the grooming shop where we have a privacy fenced area for that. Instead of using that she sat and layed in front of the grooming shop in the parking lot with her dogs taking pictures with them for 2 hours. By now it was 6pm and she said she wanted to come back later to visit some more later. I then told her if she wanted to spend that much time each day with them she might be happier taking them to a pet friendly motel. She decided to take her dogs with her. This lady obviously has mental problems. Our kennel is less than three months old and is climate controlled and every kennel allows the dog to go inside and outside as it pleases. They are also walked 4 times daily and allowed to run in the privacy fenced area at the kennel. We have 4 people that work the kennel and have been boarding for a year and a half and have never had one complaint!I have never seen a person act like this with there dogs. When people drop off there dogs we take perfect care of them. The reason they board there dogs is so we can take care of them. This lady has some sort of separation issues with her dogs. The dogs were just fine, she just could not stand to be away from them.

Just tried out this company. My dog was watched by their boarding services for over 7 days and nights. I picked my baby up today and he was in great condition, he was happy, he was healthy and well he looked like he had been home with his family and not stressed out in a kennel. VERY HAPPY. I also had him cleaned, hair cut, and nails cut..... he looks wonderful. No problems at all, matter of fact he has an awesome Mohawk that fits his personality to a T. I can not explain with words how happy I am, I was a stressed out mommy and my dog looks and acts like he has been on vacation, not stressed at all. Recommend highly.

Everyone here is so kind and the service is great! Plus they are the only ones who will groom my Malamute, most groomers around here won't because she is so large. They do a de-shed bath that is a miracle when she is blowing coat! I would recommend them to everyone! They are professional, quick and do a great job every time!

After a terrible experience with Bella Pooch, I went looking for another groomer for my puppy. This was her second groom one month after Bella Pooch's "attempt" to cut my puppy's hair. Blue Angel Pet Salon & Daycare is FABULOUS!!! The people there are friendly and actually was able to cut my dog's hair. It was so nice to see my shaggy puppy transformed into a cute little trimmed yorkie. They did a wonderful job! I will be returning and referring my animal loving friends!!!

Very friendly, and took excellent care of my two puppies. Can't say enough good things about them. My Shiba Inu does not like his nails cut, and they took the time to keep him calm.

I have never been to such a great pet salon! They really care about your pet there. I am always met at the door and me and my dog are both greeted! I am checked in and then have a one on one with the groomer to let her know exactly what I want done. I love the fact that dogs are kept in seperate pens and not in cages. When I pick up my dog I get to go over everything with the groomer to make sure I recieved the clip I wanted. They also are the most resonably priced groomer I have found. I love this place and so does my dog!

This is a great pet salon. My dogs were happy and loved the groomer and owner. They were clipped the best that they have ever been before. This will be my Pet Salon from now on. I have told all my friends about this place. Best of luck to them. I know the business will prosper and be a hit with everyone.

Never bring your pet here. ...

Never bring your pet here.

First time using this Groomers and it will be the last. They cut my Poodle under his eye with scissors and never told me. I gave him the once over and he seemed fine, I got to the car and noticed the gash. I went back in the store to ask why no one told me and the owner just stared and told me he will get the groomer. The groomer told me what happened and said she was going to tell me if she saw me. There is no communication there and if you injure someones pet write it down and let the owner know. The owner stared at me while I was venting that this is unacceptable and as my first time it will be my last. He said the next visit will be half price, I don't want that, I want you to own the fact your store is irresponsible.

This store looks dingy compared to the other groomers I use. Now I need to find another one who actually cares for the pets and not taking your money.

They dont actually check if your pets shots are up to date which freaked me out.

This customer came to our shop looking for a free groom. She said her dog had a mark under its eye. I put on my reading glasses and still couldnt see it. I told her if she wanted to take it to the vet we would be happy to pay,but she wasnt interested in that. I then offered to give her next groom at half price but that wasnt going to work either. She wanted a free groom. If her dog really had a gash under its eye she would have wanted to go to the vet. I gave her a free groom and I am sure she will do this to her next groomer.

They did such a beautiful clip...

They did such a beautiful clip job (and also bath, etc) on my 2 standard poodles. They took great care in clipping their feet especially, avoiding all hint of razor burn (which has often happened in the past with other groomers)! I am definately going to be a repeat customer.
