Pendleton Times wrote an article about domestic abuse. In this article they mentioned Kathy Ward and stated that she shot her husband in his sleep. What they failed to mention is that her husband was on crack and told her that he was going to kill her son and her father. Her husband was charged with beathing a woman with a hamer, almost to death, but he was not put in jail because she was to afraid to go to court. Kathy's husband told her that he would do the same to her and that she would not live. The shooting was an accident. You news people need to get the facts before you print a story. There is a teen age boy who has to live with his mother being put in prison for saving his life. Kathy was abused and almost killed by her husband. I am happy that she protected her family. I love her and if I were in the same situation, I would protect my family too. Get your facts before you print bs.
