I had my PET scan at the end of August. I received a bill from PET Imaging after the insurance settled with. I had another major surgery in Nov. By Dec 12 collections got involved and sent info to the credit beruea. Jan I paid PET imaging. March collections agency called saying I owed them. I called Pet imaging and asked them to please set their record straight. I applied for a loan only to be denied because of the information on my credit report, I called both the collections and Pet imaging and they got it removed. May, I received a bill for $155. I called PET Imaging but couldn't get any answer. I called the insurance company who called PET Imaging. They told the insurance the didn't bill me collection agency did but the insurance has records I paid them in full. They rectified the matter after the insurance agent got involved. I found out they were billing me for the amount the collections agency billed them. How many cancer patients that are sick they have done this to?
