AT&T Authorized Retailer

I was told by 2 different associates who flat out lied to me. Both stated that if I sign up, I would receive a discount because of where my husband was employed. They actually sat there and looked up my husband's company and said it was on the list as a company to whose employees they offer a discount. They gave me an estimate of my monthly bill, which included a 13% discount for my husband. As it turns out, we received no discount once the bill arrived. I was told to go to the corporate office to straighten it out. They told me my husband's company is NOT on the list and they can't do anything to support what these guys told me because they are simply an authorized dealer. So what I gather from this is that an authorized retailer can lie to whomever they want to make the sale.

When I went back to this authorized retailer to give them a piece of my mind, they said at this point I need to deal with the corporate office. The guy looked at my bill and said he could make it up to me by calling and reversing an activation fee. He took my info and said he'll do it. Of course, it was never done. Now I am stuck with At&T because of a lying store associate.
