My husband and I took our two australian shepherds into critters be shaved. Upon picking them up we noticed one dog had a few red bumpes down her neck we did not worry to much took them home over 3 days the swores grew worse it was bleeding and oozing she wouldn't eat couldn't lay her head down our vet was closed for the 4th so we tried to keep it clean till Monday morning. When we took her to the vet our doctor said she had severe razor burn and it looked like she'd been shave with a dirty razor. When we went back to critters to tell them what happened they were unbelievably rude and very unprofessional, asking me what did i want? that there was no way they could have done it and they don't give refunds. I wouldn't have had to take her to the vet if they would have been more careful. I did not ask for a refund, they did not apologize they denied it was anything on they're part and accused me of doing something to her myself in the time between the shave and the vet visit. I would never recommend taking your animals there!

Always have been very friendly and have never had any issues with their services. They have often worked me in last minute, which I hate to do, but sometimes due to my forgetfulness has happened!

I have been taking my two dogs to them for two years now. I have a Schnauzer and wire hair Jack Russell. I've taken them to "Pretty Puppy" and they buzzed my Schnauzer instead of doing her Schnauzer cut. (You can imagine how unhappy I was that her grown out skirt was completely buzzed). Diva Dogs would never buzz her tail or around her ears very well. Those are my two pet peaved areas. It would still be grown out and I would have to tell them EVERYTIME I took them there. Now Critters, I haven't found anything negative to say about them. The whole two years I've taken both my dogs there, They haven't every done a bad job. I haven't had to tell them one time about my dogs trimming being off. I give my Jack Russell the Schnauzer cut aswell and it is just ADORABLE! I haven't had a better experience anywhere else. I'm sure some people might have complaints about how their dogs trims were.

(Which will happen at any groomer) But, you can't go by the first impression. People make mistakes. If you haven't taken your pup here. You need to try them. They are the sweetest poeple! :)

They do not know how to groom a dog, I have a maltese and she looks awful..Her hair is all uneven, They didn't cut under her arms...I had to go home and finish trimming her!!! For $35.00 you would think they would do a better job!!!Poor thing hasn't to wear a sweater until her hair grows out!!! I don't recommend!!!

with waiting times of up to a week, what's the point of calling them. They stay booked up to a week in advance and are always booked at least three days.

Staff does not care to work your pet in, they have more business than they can handle so new customers mean little to them.
