Rude person answered the phone and hung up on me. I will never recommend this company.

I’ve always been afraid of the dentist. I couldn’t tell you why, only that I’m sure there are some horrible, traumatizing memories I’m suppressing, only kidding… I think.

Anyways, because of my terrible, irrational fear, I have been avoiding the dentist LIKE THE PLAUGE. I brush and floss pretty good and thought I was in the clear. A tooth the back of my mouth was kind of bothering me when I had my coffee and I just hopped it would go away.

But then it happened, I woke up on a Friday night at 2am with the most horrific sharp pain in my mouth. It was like nothing I’ve ever experienced before, I didn’t even know what to do or who to call. I had no choice, I had to go to the dentist. I reluctantly looked around online a bit and that’s how I found Dr. Kour. I called their number, hoping to just a leave a message for someone to call me back in the am., and was really surprised when I got a call back from Dr. Kour herself within the hour. She said she could get me in right away first thing tomorrow morning, but wait, tomorrow is saturday. I know she said, we are open on Saturdays, come down at 9. I don’t think I even fell back to sleep that night, a combination of pain and fear keeping my mind awake.

I made my way to Dr. Kour’s office and was surprised by how colorful the office was and all the nice new magazine they had, and maybe that distracted me a little bit from what I was about to face.

It turned out I needed a big filling, Dr. Kour said if I hadn’t come in when I did it would have turned into a root canal, yikes! She was so reassuring and explained everything and didn’t make me feel like an idiot for being afraid. Now I know I need to get my teeth really cleaned every 6 months, so that nothing gets so bad again. Everyone there was so nice, I just wanted you to know.
