Aggressive sales tactics only detract from what otherwise seem to be good products

As I was walking past the Dead Sea Premier cart at the North Shore mall, I was approached by the sales lady and she seemed friendly enough so for some reason I decided to stop and listen. She gave me the info on her products in a nice and friendly manner, and before I knew it she was rubbing an exfoliating scrub on my wrist to prove to me just how effective the product is. Now, I was 100% with her up to that point, and to be perfectly honest, from what I can tell, the products are terrific. I left with one very smooth and clean wrist.

The problem is, after getting you into their sales pitch, the tactics become ruthless to make the sale. Products are piled into your hands and the conversation shifts to "what else" you might need. Like, she literally would not let me walk away, even resorting to the "Oh, I'll make a special deal for you, but it has to be our little secret" ridiculousness. It got to the point where I had completely forgotten about how nice I thought the product might be and just wanted to exit the situation as quickly as possible.

The best part is, after finally walking away and doing a quick Amazon search on my phone, her "secret special deals" were revealed to still be 3-4 times what I'd pay online. That aside, since I can accept that products often do cost more at a retail establishment at a mall, please just don't treat me like an idiot with the faux hush-hush deal talk. I write this review not only to warn off other potential victims but also in hopes that this saleswoman or the company reads it and realizes that in the end these sorts of aggressive sales tactics do a disservice to their product and squander the goodwill that any friendly conversation and demonstrations may have built.
