I have had the worst trouble w/my lawn for 4 yrs. Contractor after contractor has been so unhelpful & seemed more concerned w/how much money they can charge me. Tired of this & still having a horrible mound of weed riddled dirt after all this time, I decided to try to go it alone, but needed sod. I called - as usual - a list of sod farms & all gave me quotes. Except 1 who was too busy to call me back to order & another who didn't know their price because they hadn't cut yet. Today, I happened across Emerald Lawn on DexKnows from a Google search, and OH MAN! What a difference. They gave me quotes, which beat out the competition, but what was most important to me was how they really took care to expertly and knowledgably answer my lawn concerns. 1st - if I had sprayed the weed solution on that the other turf farms never cared to tell me or ask about, I would've had a dead lawn AGAIN! One even told me they had a guarantee "as long as I done the preparation properly" but didn't explain well what that meant & never bothered to caution me about weed control solutions & dangers. Emerald Lawn properly instructed me on this & because of that; I will make my deadline & a living lawn. 2nd - I found some weird looking worms in my weed roots & would've thought it just an normal but bug. Well it turned out to be the reason I may have had so many issues. Grub worm & beetles! They eat the lawn! Emerald Lawn ( I keep saying that because I'm bad with people’s names) helped me with how to treat that properly before they ate my lawn again. In this 4 year struggle, I have never received the level of service I just did with Emerald. I actually hated dealing with Sod & Lawn businesses. Now I am jumping for joy because there is an end in sight for me. They know both organic and traditional bug control and growing methods and carry a very hardy and drought resistant grass. Their help with the weeds is indispensable to homeowners! In the end, I get a great grass that I know how to take care of & a year of fertilizer! I don't have my lawn in yet, but I will be back to update you with the final outcome. You really shouldn't go any further in your search. If you can get a delivery from this company before they are too busy, do it! They are - so far - just simply amazing! I feel very blessed to have found them on DexKnows.com :)
